What a centre midfielder? Hedges doesn’t play there he’s competing for spots with Roberts / Thomas / brooks / Davies / matondo / Williams / James any of those on the wing back/forward roles left or right - not centre mid

That means nothing and certainly in his position/s isn’t true - don’t think hedges is v good myself steady player who can do a job (just not the one that we need) but using international call ups isn’t the best barometer

Well it’s actually the model that we are aiming for (unless we get promoted) The problem with the model is the owners/pasha don’t want to re-invest correctly/significantly enough for it to work long term

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. Val keeps mentioning mistakes with the contracts which likely means one of trav/tronstad will go. Trav will hold more of a price tag and as much as we love him there’s not many teams knocking on the door for him so Derby would be a good fit for him with Eustace there

Not really can be called effective, same way the argument is used for Gueye and Ohashi regarding starts etc your right stats don’t paint the whole picture but as shown over 35 odd games with him in and out of the team the teams results don’t vary too much ps for what it’s worth to anybody he’s injured again

Not the debate the fact he’s labelled a massive loss I disagree when beck started last year we won 8 and lost 8 when beck was out of the team we won 8 lost 8 beck is better and likely to have a better career but we have enough to cover the void as shown above

Stats would suggest similar levels and similar results - it’s ok if you prefer a player over another but there’s no direct correlation in rovers form or results with beck in or out of the team. hence me saying as we have cover there it’s not a massive loss

No drop off in our performances/consistency wins/losses without beck he was covered by picks and ribeiro - the rest I agree

VI comments re the contract situation were telling. We wont lose both tronstad by all accounts happy to stay but does look like the writing could be on the wall for Travis although there hasn’t been an official approaches for him
