  1. The world still uses cash too so why can’t Rovers? It’s not very ‘modernise’ to ostracise a section of the fanbase who can’t/won’t use online banking or can’t/won’t shop online.
  2. How is it easier for someone who isn’t confident using the internet, or doesn’t feel comfortable putting their bank details online?
  3. Is this supposed to be a justification for what the club are doing? We aren’t in the PL.
  4. It isn’t particularly controversial to say Hedges isn’t very good when it comes to end product because he clearly isn’t. He does offer a lot more besides that which is why he’s in the team, but he wastes so many promising positions because his final pass/cross are often lacking. The commentator on Saturday even referenced it a couple of times.
  5. Surprised to see Cov have only won 1 of their first 7 fixtures and are near the bottom. Early days but had then down for a play off spot. Robins has done a really good job there so not sure what is going wrong for them this season? Hopefully their poor form continues tomorrow…
  6. Hedges averages a goal every ten games for Rovers, and that’s from a player that is supposed to be one of our main attacking threats. He works hard, is a tidy footballer and provides a lot of defensive cover for the full back. But he isn’t a goal threat in the slightest. He’ll now score at least one at Coventry. You’re welcome.
  7. Ten Haag is hilariously shit. I hope they never sack him.
  8. You might want to let Rudy know. The king of communicators was blaming the fans the other week.
  9. It’s silly criticising Eustace for the way we set up as some on here do. We’re doing incredibly well because of the choices Eustace makes. We don’t have the players to out-football everyone so he makes sure before anything we are hard to beat. He’s a pragmatist. So if he wants to play a CM on the left or right he does it for a reason.
  10. Can’t remember the last time we had a GD of +8
  11. I was thinking the same. I thought when Cantwell was warming up it was Travis coming off.
  12. Thought Dolan played well. He’s obviously inconsistent but he seems to reserve his good performances for Ewood Park. And it was a cracking ball to Yuki. Dolan or Travis was my MOTM. I’d give it Travis for the goal but also for his reaction to the challenge that got their lad sent off. It was worthy of a place at RADA and I’ve no doubt influenced the ref a little bit!
  13. It’s been mentioned that it allowed Eustace to return to his preferred option of playing an attacking full back and having the wide midfielder (Cantwell) drop in centrally. I thought Hedges was really poor in the first half as a traditional winger/wide mid. I think Eustace really values Hedges. He’s mentioned what a good player he is and how he was looking forward to working with him when he got the job. Hedges works really hard and is good defensively for a wide mid so you can why JE likes him. For me though his work in the attacking areas is L1 standard. His final ball/cross is invariably poor.
  14. Park is head of recruitment so I’d imagine he’s responsible, he’s no doubt got far better knowledge and contacts than GB ever had. Gestede apparently knows the Belgium and France markets so maybe Gueye was his choice.
  15. Good to see the bitter biters getting beat at Millwall.
  16. Not really. Eustace likes 1 overlapping FB as a rule. Pickering is ok as the defensive full back.
  17. Yeah, pretty obvious he was reverting to his preferred tactic of an attacking full back and a wide man that comes central. How good was Cantwell?
  18. Hedges was on a booking. No need to keep him on.
  19. No, he went to LM and Hedges to LB. Cantwell just used the ball far better than Hedges ever will. He kept coming central as well and finding space, much in the same way as JE wanted Baker to do last week.
  20. It was the new streaming thing, so essentially red button. He’s doing a great job. We were under no threat even when they had 11, but we offered very little ourselves. Cantwell changed the game. He has an innate ability to find space like all the really good players do, he demands the ball and his passing is quality.
  21. It’s a shame you made it personal, but you do you. I’m just here to discuss the footy👍
  22. It was on SKY Cantwell was excellent. Ran the game for 20 minutes and won us the game.
  23. Brilliant win. Well done lads, especially Trav and Dolan. 4 home wins in a row. 3 clean sheets in a row. In Eustace we trust!
  24. Ah, the WUM accusation, the last refuge of the bloke who’s wrong🤣
  25. Appalling shooting technique. It’s been obvious since he joined. He drags his shots
