  1. Surely tea or coffee is probably the quickest out of all liquid refreshments lol tea bag, cup hot water, bang pass it on
  2. Depends... normally if we're losing then it's down early to top up alcohol levels. If we're winning by half time I stay out because I can't quite believe it πŸ˜†
  3. Yea not blaming the staff mate, they can only go as fast as the pump. Just the organisation of it all need more pulling pints and more serving
  4. Too many Shirts and not enough pies πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ @Herbie6590 Feel free to use this as the next pod title. I will take credit πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
  5. Just a small detail and gesture we've overlooked was the parting silverware given by Old Etonians along with a framed picture, thought that that was a wonderful token of how far back we both go. So hats off to them recognising the milestone, and hope Rovers return the gesture at some point in history. See these are the things English football are built on. (I know it was a friendly) milestones, historic occasions, make me so sad to think back in black and white to look at the state of us now.
  6. That's amazing. I want one.
  7. I stayed just because they were probably the last greats we'll see kick a ball on our pitch. It felt like a farewell Blackburn Rovers 😟
  8. Did BBE not do that self pour thing?
  9. Pre pouring is so much quicker and to keep the coolness/freshness of a pint just do around 30 per kiosk then that way when they run out the queues are better off. They'll all get sold. Also I thought the Β£1.50 off pints ought to have been through the Derby game also
  10. All things concourse, mood n food, drinks and prices. 3 things that need improvement. 1. Prices. Goes without saying our prices are some of the highest in the league. Needs sorting. 2. Service. I can only speak for JW upper w11W. Pre game is fine 45-30 minutes prior to kickoff. Halftime is a mess. 15 minutes to gamble on whether to queue and ask for a non existent pie or even make it in time for a pint. There's nowhere near enough bodies on tills, surely pre pouring atleast 30 pints during the first half will help knock the queues down. There are old Ladbroke kiosks that could do this or even a bottle man that could walk around with plastic beer bottles (such as Anfield) you have to miss the last 10 minutes of a half to get down in time. 3. Stock. As reported around d the ground, not enough pies, or chips available to people that did queue up during half time. Again, things need to be stocked up pregame and during the first half.
  11. Lol, plenty in our Borough. They've missed another opportunity to get young fans, the future of our club in. I don't claim to be an expert on marketing or even a figures guy but there was ample opportunity to fill the place, businesses, schools or the like.
  12. Agree with Yukis touch but can't help but think there were alot of balls cannoned at the mid riffs not easy to control under pressure so as well as touch control somebetter passing to feet. Why they kept attempting an ariel assault is beyond me it was clear after 30 mins it wasn't working but when we played to feet we had more a tempo and chance. (Slim as they were)
  13. Also why couldn't upper BBE have Ben open to top years in local schools
  14. They they would of sold far more being a proper anniversary home kits limited edition. Fans can wear it for the 150th season and store it away for memory. Too late for all that now. The moment has passed. We lost the game. Can't see anyone buying one now
  15. What they should do is give back to the fans and give them too to those not wearing a shirt. Simple, but never going to happen
  16. I'm leaving the fanbase to be cLoSeR tO hOmE iM sUcH a SnAkE
  17. I glanced around at the Etonians game, the age group was a mature crowd , weary looking like they had seen it all and looked fed up. Hoping something will change soon because we're on the verge of being diluted for good
  18. It was straight at him he didn't even jump he crumpled down
  19. Mate he watched the ball sail in from the left 🀣
  20. Lol we bicker over some dumb shit on this forum no wonder he wanted to leave with a fanbase like this. He owed us nothing, gutted he left and he left for good reason and good luck to him because he's just one of many managers that have and will come and go through our doors under this lot. Val will be another one it's nothing new here. As our true family fan base deteriorates, we too become replaced by people who know no different. It's happening already. 15 years is a long time and rapidly sees a fanbase change. Out with the old in with the new
  21. November 2024 we looked in a better state
  22. When Bentley scored lol Sign him up sign him up sign him uuuup!!!
  23. I dunno mate look at his extension πŸ˜„ I'm not saying it was an easy one but I favour Toths reactions over pears
