  1. According to Ismael Cantwell speaks well with the board.
  2. Not particularly worried about him not getting through their defence. However, their getting through our left-hand side might be an issue.
  3. Since we're playing Hull away on the 23rd of August, he could probably get a lift there with the team bus, unless Waggot did not receive it as his parting gift.
  4. Unfortunately, I can imagine Tronstad's agent being quite active or desperate now. This is all due to Tronstad wanting to move closer to home, of course. Nothing to do with the Venky stooges.
  5. Unfortunately, the rats are well-positioned within the club hierarchy. Venkys out!
  6. The treatment of Trav has been nothing short of disgraceful, including Ismael's comments following the loss to Bradford. Venkys out!
  7. I'll offer one reason: the significant downgrading that has been occurring this summer (and it's still ongoing!). Another indication is that we were unable to defeat a League One team that has just been promoted from League Two. Some might even suspect team morale to be quite low.
  8. I've seen the argument made that it's a good thing the head coach is aligned with the board, and while I understand why some might claim that, I would still argue that being aligned with stupidity is not automatically a good thing. JDT left because of that stupidity. Eustace left because of that stupidity. Ismael? Who knows what he thinks and will do?
  9. I'd rather say we're a bit too imaginative with our signings. To believe that we don't need proven Championship players is plain stupidity from Rudy. If Ismael subscribes to the same view hi is simply not a very clever manager.
  10. There seem to be at least some differences between what Tronstad and Ismael recon the truth to be. I would also not be overly shocked if Trav did not feel that Rovers have done everything they can to keep him (even in the last couple of weeks).
  11. You are probably right. Come January, which manager will look at our squad and think, "I can save this lot from relegation"?
  12. We already lost our best centre back, but apart from that I fully agree.
  13. That's not quite accurate. In the podcast, he says he'll stay abroad for as long as possible and that he's open to staying with Rovers, but he hasn't received any concrete offer from them.
  14. There is something that seems a bit off about Ismael. His WBA stint was reportedly quite bad. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/3107878/2022/02/03/inside-valerien-ismaels-sacking-player-fallouts-an-unwillingness-to-adapt-and-entire-organisation-under-new-management/?redirected=1
  15. If this list is even vaguely true, it would be shocking—except that it’s not, given our board and owners. Rudy entering the building has proved to be a big big problem, trying to be smart and clever when he is clearly out of his depth. We need a manager who has at least had some success in the past, knows the Championship, is an excellent man-manager and motivator, does not rely on bringing in expensive players, and is willing to work his socks off understanding each opponent and creating a game plan for each remaining "cup final". I'm not sure if anyone on that list even ticks a single box
