  1. Sounds like it's all Rovers at the moment. Hopefully we'll get another goal before half time.
  2. Horrific pass.. Much like Yobo's earlier today. And a red card for Dickov! 3-1 hammers.
  3. What's the formation? 4-5-1. Stead lone striker. Doesn't look too good so far.
  4. thats right.. We are not do-gooders! The correct translation would be: "Its typical for a Norwegian to excel!" The phrase was spoken by former Norwegian PM, Gro Harlem Brundtland, after the usual Norwegian success in a skiing World Championship back in the 80-ies. Actually I think she said that during the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.
  5. Norwich next weekend is a must-win-game. If we do, we are fairly safe. But who's gonna score our goals?? Would like to see Gally alongside Dickov next match.. or Jemal J... Bothroyd & Stead are obviously not high on confidence at the moment. Wonder if they will score at all this season.
  6. At least we're still five points above relegation... We need to play 2 strikers in a match like this! Dickov on his own is pretty hopeless. Should have gotten something out of this game..
  7. Half time.. 0-1. I think we've been very unlucky not to be in the lead or at least have a point so far. Apart from the goal, Chelsea hasn't really proven much... they certainly don't look like England's best team. We've shown some great play, unfortunately luck isn't on our side it seems. Great half by MGP , Savage has also been solid.
  8. Dickov misses penalty.. unbelievable save by Cech!
  9. I actually thought we played well the first five minutes... but to get a start like that.. a nightmare.
  10. Robben out..injured. At least that's good news
  11. Wasn't the attendance only 7000 or something at the Bournemouth game in September?
  12. My guess is they took Mokoena out because they are afraid he'll receive a red card. He was certainly close to being sent off at the end of the first half.
  13. Must have missed that one. I just read that MGP was rated MOM by a jury at Ewood...
  14. Pedersen centre midfield? You clearly dont have a clue do you! Pedersen has been a centre mid for Tromsø in several games, especially during the 2003 season, and done fairly well. So left wing is not his only position. However, I think the reason he is not on the subs bench today is because he got a minor injury in training on Wednesday.
  15. Hi everyone. A video exclusive of Morten Gamst Pedersen is now available for download at Tromsø’s website (if you are not aware of it already). The 5-minute special was made by the world-known television football magazine Fútbol Mundial and has been/will be broadcasted in more than 150 countries. Notice: The file is large (60 mb), so it might take a while to download, depending on your connection. MGP is interviewed in this video (+ some former teammates and manager) and you will see some of his goals for Tromsø this season. MGP video I’m from Tromsø, Norway, myself and I have followed the team closely for more than 10 years. MGP was probably the greatest talent I’ve seen on our team. In some matches he was outstanding (in fact versus the best teams, Rosenborg, Viking, Lillestrøm etc.) and he’s also proven himself well against international opposition. His only weakness was the stability, but during this season he has performed very well almost every match (before he was sold). Knowing MGP as a player, I would be very surprised if he doesn’t succeed in the Premier League. As you all have said, he might and probably will need time to adjust. He also did when we bought him 4 years ago, but he developed into a great player. So I hope you have patience in Morten and I’m sure he will “bloom” eventually!
