It's the lack of care and respect that is unacceptable. Being h crap is one thing, but giving up is entirely different. How can that geezer sit on the bench as a helpless bystander and not do anything. If the job is beyond him then leave, if it isn't then grab hold of your Bollocks and start putting it right. The fans are owed that much. I'm convinced he's sat there waiting for his push off and he's just given up on it because he doesn't believe in himself. Never mind your professional pride, how can you call yourself a man and do that. He's a bloody coward. He hides, he puts the blame anywhere but himself. But then that's the sort of character that Venky's attract. It's a very poor show all around and it's been going on far too long. It's the old Stockdale paradox again. I just have to accept that Venky's own the club and they're batshit clueless loonies who neither care nor understand. To paraphrase stockdale “leaving the world of football and entering the world of Epictetus.” but he only did seven years in hanoi. I guess one day they'll leave, won't they? Won't they?

Not acknowledging the fans is very low. The sign of a man who is completely untouchable or someone who is just waiting for the sack like your wait for Godot? Or both? I just don't know where this is heading, other than down. The whole situation is very unhealthy and it stems from absentee owners who seemingly have no interest

Looks like he needs a Chris Ryan book to keep him occupied. One of them ex-SAS lads books, very macho, help take the edge off the boredom for the fella.

Oh the lad from Liverpool. Well, I didn't see the game. But I pity any young lad playing for rovers at the moment. The manager is a dead loss of space, I should imagine he'd be toxic for any young fella trying to learn the game. I wouldn't feel full of confidence with him behind me. Look at the difference in brereton after he played for a different manager
-
Who's this Clarkson fella, never heard of him
-
Yeah, look after yourself, it's not worth it. We didn't sell the club, we don't run the club, we're not the manager and we don't play. The Club is an absolute basket case, but it's not our fault and realistically there's nothing that we can do about it. There's quite a lot of people who contributed to taking us from where we were to putting us into this great bloody hole that were now in, but I doubt any of them feels any shame. It's a crying shame, but you have to look after yourself and not torment yourself thinking about it too much
-
And people still fall for fat Barry sending an open letter telling us that he's going to fix everything. Oh, they're billionaires, they're so rich. If they ran the club right, we'd be laughing. Wake up, the club is dying on its arse

He should've gone years back. But he's not walking and he won't get sacked

Apart from the Facebook crew, did anyone actually back mowbray anymore? I would've thought he'd lost the entire crowd by now -

We are lost in the Venky's vortex with toxic Tony who's on the grass all week. Langurous Lowe, Vexatious Venus and Wankspanner Waggott complete the picture to leave us up Alliterative Alimentary Canal. Can't go forwards, only back, straight down the pan and flushed with prejudice. La tristesse durera, the only release is hacking your internet access off and going down b and q on a Saturday afternoon -

Just been reading a piece in the guardian about the Newcastle takeover. It's written by a Geordie. One line stood out... "Without fantasy, football becomes meaningless" The last eleven years have been devoted of meaning then at Ewood. The only fantasy I have is of Waggott dropping dead, and Venky's selling up. -
And still is, you'd have thought? 🤔

Maybe time for a poll, what do you prefer, carry on venkying with sid James as Jerome Anderson and Bernard bresslaw as Mowbray orrrrrrrrr admin, relegation and fan ownership Although really, Bernard would be Barry venkys, Jim dale would be henning berg, Kenneth Williams would be mowbray, Joan Sims as the dragon lady. Wilfred bramble as Steve kean, Charles hawtrey as Derek Shaw and Barbara Windsor as myles Anderson -

I seem to remember it coming out that Venky's bought the club on the premise that it would need £5m pa to fund it. I would assume that they're not happy funding it at this current level, that's why it won't ever get fixed. Eventually they're going to get fed up of this lark, they're clearly no good at it, and it's costing them dearly -

Jam tomorrow, just like we've been promised for the last eleven years. The Club is being run into the ground. Competent ceo, complete revamp, managerial, coaching staff and player recruitment. Why does all of that need to be sorted? Because Venky's have bloody well wrecked everything. We've had eleven years of all of that being totally hammered to pieces, ruining all of the work of the jack walker Era. Where exactly does flogging of half the training ground for housing fit into these exciting plans to turn everything around? It doesn't, does it? As someone said to me once, don't look at what people say, look at what they do. I wouldn't say we've had phenomenal financial backing at all. Have the club's assets been increased? Nope. What I think it actually is, is phenomenal financial damage. A monstrous increase in liabilities which means we're now beholden to the very people who put us in this mess in the first place. We're a basket case of a club that no one would be interested in buying. And the longer Venky's stay, the worse it gets. They're not capable of fixing the problems they've created. But much worse than that, they're not even bloody interested in fixing the problems they've created. The income stream is shrinking, the cost base isn't shrinking apace with it, they've tried to sell fixed assets presumably to service debt repayment. We're a zombie club, and alarm bells should be ringing. Jesus, they can't even keep the ground clean and tidy. Why anyone would want them to carry on in the folorn hope that barry venky will have an epiphany while he's sat on the pot munching PB jelly sandwiches on the bog phone to fifty cent, I really have no idea. I don't want to live in false hope, let's get them gone and pick up the pieces -

You'd think that someone had something on them aka perpetual blackmail, or they're worried that DD will take some skellingtons . Think that's a little far fetched though -

There's no credible buyers and even if there were, they wouldn't be given the time of day by Venky's. Guess we just have to wait out until something happens. Feels like a combination of the Martian and groundhog day at the moment. We're stranded and no one is coming to rescue us. Unfortunately whereas matt Damon eventually got his ass off Mars , every sad season for us is a replay of what went before. Supporters mollified by a letter from venkys telling them that things will be different this year. Toni Moroni promising defenders, bigging up lads helle barely play, starting well and then suddenly fading fast in a blizzard of players out of position, soft goals, best players sold off, cat naps on the bench and David Lowe trying to get people interested in what he's saying. Is either that or it's admin. Choose your poison. It's either get kicked in the nuts by fat Barry's minders year after year, or take a one off beating from the administrator, and be forever free of Venky's -

Carrying the hope that the owners are capable of appointing a decent manager, it's just not on the cards, is it really? With had eleven years of them appointing water carriers, yes men, and people like Steve kean. It would be akin to expecting the pope to snort coke out of Kerry katonas cleavage in the mosh pit at an ac DC gig. Yeah, yer man the pope could do something interesting with his time, but no, given past performance, I do feel it to be so unlikely as to be written off as not going to happen. I would argue that rovers have never felt the benefit of Venky's wealth since all of it had gone on servicing the big black hole of debt they themselves created. I think if the club ever gets back on an even keel again, they'll just turn the taps off as much as possible. In the end, they're going to get us relegated anyway. Possibly more than once. -

I wouldn't give two stuffs who we're playing, as long as venkys have gone, and we have our club back, I'll be there. -

I'd imagine some people would object, and I can understand why. But I'm absolutely with you. I don't care where we start again, just get them gone. Football really needs a massive story out in terms of who is allowed to buy a club (and how much) , and it's a shame that when owners prove to be toxic, as ours undoubtedly are, that the club cannot somehow be taken from them. I don't think football can be trusted to police itself. The whole thing is bent, isn't it really? It's not like you're preferred supersmarket suddenly going downhill so you switch to tesco. These are community assets, a large part of people's lives, and you can't expect it to be sorted out when there's such suspicion of back handed going on
