  1. bad girl - new york dolls is it so difficult to see how the words vehicle and motorhead are connected?
  2. vehicle - ides of march
  3. don't waste my time - paul hardcastle
  4. don't stand me down - blue tones
  5. Here's Where the Story Ends - The Sundays.
  6. Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles.
  7. Khan will be whacking away at thin air. Maybe Floyd will use the same check hook on him that he used on poor old Ricky.
  8. Woakes doesn't sound like he has anything in his armoury to bother test batsmen. Have England picked another bits and pieces cricketer? Kerrigan sounds like he's had a torrid day, perhaps his desperation to succeed has seen his nerves spiral out of control. I really feel for him. England will do very well to take 20 wickets in this match. We need the top three to turn up and/or Broad to come to the party in style otherwise we'll end the series on a low.
  9. Are the Aussies too thick to understand how to use DRS? Unbelievable.
  10. I guess you'd fail Norman Tebbit's cricket test.
  11. It looks like the DRS is a mess and has not improved the accuracy of umpires decisions. Perhaps a warning in there somehow for football. I realise goal-line technology may be more infallible in that in only has to sense when the ball has crossed the line. However, for most of the other decisions, they would be made by a human being, with the associated fallibility. Something to ponder.
  12. They're having another collapse. The mood in their dressing room ain't going to be pretty.
  13. It all goes in cycles. One nation can't hope to perennially be top of the rankings.
  14. The Alderman stuff was just pure torture. 1989 was just about as bad a year as I can remember to be an England fan. If you're talking about swing bowling, then it's a hell of a shame that Simon Jones was never the same after 2005.
  15. To be fair to Jim, so did England ...
  16. There's plenty of time left, and the conservative decision would be to ile on the runs and leave them to bat last with an impossible target. It would demoralise them and the conditions would be deteriorating.
  17. Possibly too much 1-day and 20-20 is messing with players' heads. Although I think the calendar in general is now too crowded, it's almost inevitable that that will have some sort of negative effect. I'd still back England to win.
  18. The Trott and Pietersen dismisslas were particularly bad. Reckless even.
  19. They must be totally stocious and ready to go to war now? Bert they're hoping the follow-on isn't enforced.
  20. To get run out in that situation is almost unforgiveable. If I was Cook, I wouldn't enforce the follow-on (which will surely be an option).
  21. The Aussies of 2005 vintage would've got 450 on this strip, quite easily. The current test side for Australia seems awful weak. Not that I'm complaining, of course. I'm loving it. And the inability of their side to understand how DRS works is just the cherry on top.
  22. Well, England have rallied slightly, so I guess you must be gutted.
  23. You don't like the English cricket team (despite being English), so why are you still on here? Do you get your jollies watching England do badly? Why don't you be a good little lad and @#/? off?
  24. Very sorry to hear such sad news. Godspeed.
