How many managers have we said that about in the last six years or so ?
-
Just switched my IPad on and saw this. Bitterly, bitterly disappointed. I just don't know how they do it, it can only be deliberate. They might as well just kept Coyle, for me there's no difference. That's me done anyway. Like Clayton I've got Rugby League to fall back on.

A coach load of workmates went to Wigan V Manley many years ago for the first club championship. It was 8-2 to Wigan, no tries , but what a titanic game. They said there was 38,000 on that night but that was a serious underestimate Widnes v Canberra Raiders was another tremendous game a few years later. -

I would have thought winning the World Club Championship was the pinnacle in club Rugby League. When Hornets win it I'll let you know for sure. -

Well done Wigan and Warrington. Great game at Hornets , we ran Hull KR very close. We had them on the ropes at 18-20 and let them get out of jail. -

That's why he's a centre half. -

Good win at Bradford for my team. Hull KR at home next Sunday. We'll see what we're made of then. Hopefully I'll be back home for that one. -

It started last week for my team. We got promoted last season so to beat an established team 46-0 was some result. Away at Bradford today so I'm expecting a tough game. I'm out in Spain today but we fly back tomorrow. I'll be at the home match with Hull KR next Sunday. i'm sorry but the comparisons with the way Hornets are run and Rovers aren't run is heartbreaking. -
They don't panic even when they're behind late in the game.

How many have you seen Gallagher win out of interest. -
Tough game for England today. Only a 100 % performance will do. Discipline is the key we, we need to keep on the right side of the officials.

If this lot had been running the show in the sixties Pickering, England and Newton would have all been sold for a song as soon as we got an offer for them. -

Whenever you step up into a bigger team it's not easy just to play your natural game. Most players try and establish themselves in the team before they get ambitious with the ball. One mistake that leads to a goal and you can out of the side and back to square one. Give him time. -

I've only seen Nyambe playing for the youth team but he seemed to me to have some of the basics you need to play full back. He had plenty of pace for one thing and that never hurt anybody playing there. You have to be careful watching the youths though because the age difference can make a massive effect. -
I'd love to see him at Ewood even if it was only for a week or two. I was reading an article about him the other day, he's always watching coaching in other sports. He was glowing in his comments about how hard Pep works his players in training. He had good words to say about cyclist's fitness also.

It's a tricky one Parson. Young players aren't weighed down much by previous failure and they've got the confidence and optimism of youth. They'll keep running when older players have given the game up as lost. On the reverse side of side of the coin they're learning on the job and it's s steep learning curve. They make mistakes and in a relegation battle those mistakes can be very costly. -

Did he play in the games against Chelsea ? I thought both our centre backs looked pretty promising and they'd plenty to do. Doyle impressed me at left back. I wasn't jumping out of my seat at any of the players in front of them. Having said that I remember watching Damien Duff in a youth team game and he was very quiet. -
Well a win is a win. When the going gets tough the tough get going.

Scotland have improving for quite a while now. They won't be " easy beats " this season.

Very true. Part of a manager's job is to remove any obstacle to the team playing to the best of it's ability. Leave the players with no excuses. Coyle has no idea how to do this. That's why he's a serial loser. -

I agree about Johnno. How could he be worse ? -

Even when we had a top class youth team that actually won the competition we only had 3 players who made it to the first team regularly. Having said that most of them would have got into the current team ! -

That tells you all you need to know about English youth football. One of the worst players on our books technically played for England Under 21's . -

Even when we didn't have a pot to p--s in the directors managed to spend the cash to bring in the likes of Duncan Mackenzie in an attempt to save our skins . This lot aren't bothered. -
