  1. No motivation, disinterested, physically meek and prone to injury...David Dunn. NO THANKS.
  2. Sorry Roverite, but the interest is simply not there any more.Irrespective of WHATEVER our club does to get the fans back at the moment its falling on deaf ears....I doubt there will be little more than around 10,000 v QPR. Theres another page full of letters in tonights LET about our gate problems, folk moaning about the price again seems to be the usual scapegoat excuse........ all becoming a little bit tiresome and well worn now folks!!! It could be used as a novelty, yes I would go as far as letting u13's in free 14-16 £2-£3, students a fiver etc etc....at a massive financial loss to the club This club CANNOT afford to let people in for nowt and then hope to remain in this league long term. There is no immediate answer to our problems, our gates have now found their 'natural' level for a town our size especially now the JW bandwagon boys 'n' girls have fled to pastures new.
  3. He'll be gone in a flash if Rangers want him...tell you what Souey, you've more lives than a cat sunshine!
  4. I found the service very, very moving indeed. George best never did anyone any harm....nobody is perfect.
  5. He got lucky yesterday,bl00dy well lucky and dont he know it!!
  6. Poor management?...get the ###### out!! Strange game today,Everton were poor and never in the game until the ridiculous sending off which was never,NEVER a red card.Surreal feeling leaving the ground.....empty,robbed even. One thing is for sure, we need another quality striker in January if we are to fulfil our potential this season. 22,000 with 5,000+ from Everton?......not improving is it
  7. Rovers 1/1 with bookies for home win!!
  8. NIGHTMARE SCENARIO...THAT REALLY WOULD BE TWISTING THE KNIFE!!!!!
  9. Born in '92 eh.....believe me nonaynevernomore, you dont know what 'BAD TIMES' are watching Rovers!
  10. MMMmmmmmmmm tricky this,Everton have never been pushovers at Ewood so 2-1 Rovers in a very close game. Lets hope a few more fans turn out in force after last nights fantastic result too...THE LADS DESERVE THE SUPPORT.
  11. Jesus christ! what a come back...made a nightshift a very good one Morale has improved so much under Hughes.
  12. They probably also lament the amount of gorgeous women he went through too!!! Has anybody also considered the possibilty that Best himself had no intention of growing old and frail....it doesn't appeal to me either to be honest
  13. The minutes applause is a much fitting way of remembering footballers after all, they plied their trade in noisy stadiums.....It also drowns out any booing from deadheads etc.
  14. Now then,Everton at home for Rovers on Saturday!.............................................
  15. Spuds had an excellent 4,000 at Ewood for the night match. Knowing Evertons excellent away support I fully expect them to take up most of the 7,500 tickets, should see the biggest crowd on Ewood so far this season come next Saturday.....at least 25,000.
  16. Where there Arsenal fans in the Rovers section anyone who went?.......so claims a fan on another mb.
  17. No team loses 3-0 and are 'unlucky'....we were undone by 3 quality goals and had no reply for all our huff and puff.
  18. I only follow rally driving very loosely but thats come as shock about Burns,I had no idea he was so ill
  19. 2-0 Arsenal.....sorry boys 'n' girls but we are not in the same class as these top teams. Time to move on and look forward to some winnable home games in the near future
  20. Great footballer who threw it all away.....a sad end. Life goes on.
  21. Hughes must play 4-4-2 if we are to pose any sort of threat to the Arsenal.Wigan gave them a fright with open attacking football,Arsenal's defence could be their weak spot this season. 1-1 Bellamy.
  22. There is one sad comparison between Rovers and Wigan ........ we are both dependent on having massive away followings for us to get a half decent crowd on.
  23. I agree entirely theno and the figures above, polio epidemic or no polio epidemic just go to prove that. Some 23 years later we were still getting around 7,000 for games.
  24. You should have a look at some of our 'crowds' the season we were relegated from the top flight 65/66......EEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!! Home games against Blackpool,Sheff Wendy,West Brom and Spurs all saw, wait for it........ just over 7,000 each. Incredible, can any of the older posters on here put some meat on the bones as to what the hell happened that season?
