  1. The 1912 semi-final programme realised £2,500 on E-bay auction.
  2. Sorry Capt but the fella is spot on here: ''In Newcastle, the club has received 31,000 tickets for their semi-final, and has had 33,000 applications from season ticket holders alone. That means that tickets will not go on general sale, and several hundred season ticket holders will also miss out. Of course, you can't compare the fan bases of Blackburn and Newcastle. But you can compare the attitude of some of the fans. Newcastle kick off at 2pm on Sunday, April 17, so that means a similar 5.30am start time, with a possible six-hour journey. But according to the press gang in Newcastle, you won't find a single Geordie unwilling to give up a few hours sleep to see their side take on Manchester United.'' ATTITUDE AND COMMITMENT.
  3. Mourinho is loving every minute of it..a real showman and no mistake! If I was earning his wages I wouldn't give a shyte what anybody else thought either.
  4. Have a good feeling you'll be buying a few beers Berkshire!!!
  5. Aren't we all paying the same over inflated prices though?
  6. As sure as night follows day you just knew it would only be a matter of time before 'the bitters' chirped up...if,if,if,if,!!!!
  7. Lee any official figure from your side yet pal? 3,500 7,000 12,000!!!!!
  8. Where you all sitting then?.......should be plenty of space to spread out North stand N2.
  9. Roverite, how have 7,000 season tickets holders managed to secure an extra 7,000 tickets for 'family and friends' when its supposed to be one ticket per season ticket book? Like you I agree that they should be sold to anyone who wants one but surely that scenario happens on 11th April anyway.
  10. 4,000 at a guess
  11. The only thing at the ticket office this morning is tumbleweed!......even the season ticket holders have seemingly become apathetic.
  12. I'll be surprised if there's more than 50,000 at the game to be honest and really doubt whether we will sell more than 20,000 ourselves.
  13. Worth In the hundreds at auction mate.
  14. Cup final programmes from around that time can go for £4-5,000 a time depending on condition,semi-final programmes that old are just as sought after. They are very rare as is this programme and they simply dont come up for sale very often.Serious Collectors will pay and they are certainly sensible investments.
  15. A VERY VALUABLE PROGRAMME I SHOULD THINK,WHAT PRICE THIS GEM? ..................... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5177848552&rd=1
  16. Good pic of a packed Ewood taken by a Dingle in the Darren end........ PARADISE
  17. Looking at the leaflet we were given yesterday, the majority of tickets are priced between £45-55. NOT exactly 'family friendly' pricing is it!!!
  18. We huffed and puffed but at the end of the day we simply have NOTHING upfront to hurt top sides like Arsenal ..simple as. Only 19,000 home supporters?
  19. I doubt we will sell that many but just to reiterate the thoughts of many, it will take something VERY major in my life to make me miss this game! The 12:15 kickoff is quite frankly ridiculous but hey hoo thats life.
  20. This will be our clubs 17TH FA cup semi-final appearance I do believe.....what a tremendously proud tradition!!! We beat Arsenal on our way to the 1928 cup final.....at Filbert st,Leicester. Superstitious? Anyone else think our name could be on t'cup this year!
  21. Whatever the result against Arsenal be proud,be VERY PROUD to say you are a supporter of good old Blackburn Rovers fc!!
  22. WE'RE ALL GOING TO CARDIFF ......after a hell of a lot of huffing and puffing!!.Why in gods name didn't we start with two strikers up front I'll never know,Leicester offered very little as an attacking force. Awful performance played infront of a strangely subdued and dare I say even passionless home crowd at times. Only 15,000 home supporters....you can all come out to play now Rovers 'fans' we're in the semi-final now
  23. It was a fantastic experience and atmosphere in Cardiff in 2002....bring it on again I WANT MORE !!!
  24. Very nice Mrs American...keep up the good work!!!
