We're revelling in the misfortune of a Manager who did so much to turn us around in Div 1 and then went on to win us the league cup and see us play in Europe again?. Compare his record to the likes of Kidd and Hodgson. Whatever his failings were he did well for Rovers on the whole...I've had a laugh too on this thread but some take it too far...almost akin to a vendetta!

Let's get this straight...last night was in no way a dirty performance by Rovers who dominated Spuds for long periods but we must improve our disciplinary record as it is undoing all the good work we have seen so far by the team,please take note Sparky. Competative and committed is how I would sum up the lads in blue 'n' white and it was heartening to see.Even when we were down to 10 they never stopped going forward looking for the winning goal....come on Bellamy we REALLY need you to be fit son! Kuqi tries but has no real quality. Quite frankly I though it was nothing more than arrogance by Spurs to rest their key player's and it nearly backfired, Rovers have proved they will be no pushover at Ewood this season. Like many others I came off Ewood in no way Disappointed by the result,matters are looking a damn sight better than last season.If Spuds are Championsleague quality then i'll show my fat arse!. The cheapest seats on sale at Chelsea were £48, with others available at £60. While crackpots continue to roll up and pay these crazy prices the FA etc think all is well.

You might be in for a hell of a surpise with Spurs away following come Wednesday...should boost the crowd nicely. Believe it or not they have a very large northern fanbase. 3-4k will be there.

I have just been on 4 different club's message board's and every one of which are talking about the same topic with the same concerns....THE BUBBLE HAS FINALLY BURST FOLKS!

I reiterate again, 1 adult + 1 child=£20 to watch Prem football on Wednesday against attractive opposition..... Rovers are probably THE cheapest in the Prem.

Like it or not we attracted many 'bandwagon' fans with the meteoric rise of the Jack Walker years,'fans' who were clearly not in it for the long run.....we are seeing the negative effect of that now. Lets hope we see a positive response from the Blackburn public come Wednesday,after all,this backwater town has bugger all else to shout about. Fingers crossed **sigh**

Listened to one woman rant and rave on radio Lancs about the cost of attending Ewood. I'm sorry but thats a shallow excuse now,she could have took herself and one child for just £20.....one adult ticket to Bolton £32!!! Even the top bargain,ridiculously cheap £250 season tickets are not sold out.....APATHY.

Another massive drop in attendance was in evidence yesterday....the club simply cannot carrry on like this for much longer I'm afraid to say,they must be losing money hand over fist. I think I am right in saying the club would have been well below break-even point with that pathetic attendance.....9 CHAMPIONSHIP clubs had a bigger gate than us! I stated a week before the game that a ticket promotion should have been done for this game(kids for a quid) as it was clear it was never going to be a crowd puller..the club seems to lack vision and dare I say even common sense. The appparent lack of support should be a concern to everybody who has even the slightest vested interest In BRFC...the lifeblood of the club is slowly ebbing away I fear. P.S. Although Spuds have reportedly sold some 3,500 tickets for Wednesday I still cant see the crowd breaking through the 20K barrier.

Two fantastic goals and a solid performance. 16,000 crowd! well below my worst prediction I'm afraid......when was the last time we had 16k for a home league game? Will they come out for Spurs A MIDWEEK GAME? WORRYING.

Why do I feel utterly disconnected from every player who wears blue and white? Spot on Paul, I sympathise with that point entirely....the modern football team is comprised of nothing more than mercenaries who hardly harbour an interest in their respective club's outside of their bulging pay packets,let alone the fan's. They seem completely detached from reality on all level's.
