Utd certainly did dominate possession,they physically gave as much as they took last night. For me the difference in class was quite marked,the speed and trickery of Saha was a joy to watch and as for Ronaldo!....its the first time this season I have seen an opposition player simply waltz past 1,2, nay 3 of our players like they weren't there!! They kept Bellars shackled all night as as for Kuqi the less said the better Overall,Rovers did well on the night to hold out but they will be a hard nut to crack at OT.

It's as if the sports editor (who supports Liverpool) is trying to wean locals off following Rovers and follow the big Manchester or Liverpool clubs. Congrats to Sparky and his policy of playing his strongest side possible for these cup games......it will/is bearing fruit!! Apart from the first 10 minutes Rovers comfortably controlled the game and Bellamy's first goal was a gem......just a shame there wasn't many Rovers fans there to witness it.I agree with others that the boy Peter looks a great prospect. I'm with Duffs minder here, the childish goading of Souness is uncalled for,he did more good than bad during his tenure at Ewood. Souness will now know he made a big mistake leaving Ewood......the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Leave it at that folks eh.

Blackburn Rovers have treated Matt Jansen VERY well since his accident...I think Matt 'finally' realises its time for him to do the decent thing and part company.

Under Souness we would have lost this game.....under Hughes we are a much tougher nut to crack.Very,very happy with the progress we have made so far, no complaints here! 19,500 with kids for £1 ...good or bad?,I just dont know anymore.Sad to say but you'd get more atmosphere on the moon than was created from our fans tonight.... very poor,total opposite of Saturday.
