Talking about 'gates' anybody read the article in tonights LET by Burnley chairman agent Kilby about how they need 16,000 average gates down at Turd Moor just to break even!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their average so far is 11,816.............
MAN THEM LIFEBOATS FOLKS!!!!!!!!!
What has Tony got to lose by taking the post?..he probably walked out of Ewood with a testimonial cheque big enough to see him right for the rest of his life.
Lee, is there absolutely no chance of any more tickets being allocated?...quite surprised at the speed at which they've been snapped up as they were only put on restricted sale Monday!.
I have to echo the comment that under Hughes the football at Ewood is some of the most entertaining I have seen for years. The team seems to be galvanised and working hard for each other...a sure fire recipe for success.
Seeing our fans leave Ewood happy with smiles on their faces again was a sight rarely seen under the tenure of Souness, let the good times roll!!!
Lets work on getting ALL sections of the community down to Ewood on matchday.......by christ do we need 'em!!
If we can't consistently get even 20,000 in with some of the cheapest available prices in the Premiership and on a great run of form, we're going to seriously struggle to compete at this level in the long term and that is no understatement.
Fair enough Modi but matters need to improve..even Charlton fans are having a pop on their site about today's 'crowd'!
Anyway like you say, lets enjoy today's magnificent result!
Magnificent team performance!!! ...we cant ask for any more,
this is a very hungry and entertaining team with goals all over it
17,600.....sorry but this Rovers team deserves better, ffs pull your fingers out Blackburn folk!
What’s threats do Blackburn pose and from whom?
Watch out for them crunching leg-breaking tackles from all over the pitch!
Yawwwnnnnnnn.....gets a little bit f'kin boring doesn't it!!!
Chartlon will be a tough nut to crack but with Bellamy looking dangerous and a good spirit throughout the team I have a feeling......
Rovers 1 Addicks 0 Bellamy
Att: 19,600
I must say I was NOT surprised to see not one Asian face at the meeting,we bang on about trying to attract Asian fans to Ewood from within the town but apart from the odd one or two the interest is simply not there.
Thursday's meeting was well publicised and would have been an ideal opportunity for their community to get invovled and have their say and show support.....they clearly choose not to.
The club/BRISA imho are flogging a dead horse in trying to attract the numbers of Asian supporters we need down to Ewood on matchday...it will simply never happen.
Can I just congratulate everyone concerned with last night and the launch of BRISA.The speakers came across very well in a situation that is not easy infront of so many people....a decentish turnout that bodes well for the future.
Apologies for my early exit but a nightshift in Dingleville was calling!
