Sorry Waggy but their IS an increased risk of trouble at this game and history only backs this up. I'm like you mate, I'm big and ugly enough to take care of myself and if push came to shove perhaps I'd react in a not to favourable way if Burnley 'fans' had obtained tickets for home areas and IF (I REPEAT) IF they were clearly intent on causing trouble...I would not like kids to be put through that quite frankly. I would much rather have these slower than usual ticket sales to ensure no away fan infiltration full stop and ensurea good atmosphere with zero incidents in the stands.

Bully for you waggy but I suspect many with young children will be...nobody wants any aggro at this match and the security measures in place when buying tickets are there for good reason.Dont let this put anyone off buying tickets, we need a passionate and full house on the night....personally I wouldn't miss this for 'owt! If there's 3000 tickets left on Sunday and no queues at Ewood will you accept its the apathy and general lack of interest of our 'fans' or will you try to spin the yarn that everyone got fed up with the situation during the week and had lost all interest / refused to go on Sunday?? 3 days to shift -5,000 tickets is NOT too much to ask. Large queues again this morning when I collected my tickets....6 windows serving! Speaking to Burnley work collegues and it appears many are travelling by coach and they do NOT expect to shift 7,000 tickets.

Mmmmmmmm couldn't help but feel slighty frustrated at the final whistle.We had the majority of chances but failed to capitalise through lack of real quality up front. How many times did we hopelessly punt the ball route one only to see it go straight back to Bumley...we were losing possession far to easily at times!!! One crumb of comfort I can take is that Valios was Bumleys best player by a country mile..the rest were mediocre and they shouldn't in all honesty give us too much trouble back at paradise. Great support from BOTH sets of fans today but the brain dead pillock who wanted a toe to toe with Savage will be spending a little time at her Majesty's pleasure very soon...TOP BURNLEY BOY!!

Excellent point Roverite.Rovers players are used to playing infront of large,partisan crowds in the Premiership...once again the real question is will the Bumley players be able to cope with the whole occasion? Many of their fans at work are worried sh1tless 2 days before a ball has even been kicked in anger never mind their players!!.
