  1. It looked like they took the full allocation of 7,500.
  2. I hope you and you're kid who cant drive dies when shes driving you on some social occasion for youre family, you are an utter disgrace Lowlife.
  3. I commented to the lad who sits next to me that the crowd looked bigger than 25,000. But if the figures are correct then we had less than 18,000 home fans allowing for the 7,500 from Torquay!!
  4. Surely!, SURELY! SURELY! the folk of Blackburn will come in increasing numbers to watch us now wont they? We had just under 18,000 home supporters there last night to witness that magnificent game and for what is traditionally the biggest fixture of the season. Its poor......Look at it from whatever angle you want, make excuses, patch it up any way you like but it MUST improve for the sake of the clubs future.
  5. ''Top international firm'' Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....I just hope it pays well for Rovers as they fully deserve it.
  6. This really is great comedy from 'owd purple nose, talk about foot in mouth time.....we've got to 'em big style boys and girls! ......AND LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
  7. First league double over Utd since 1931!!!!!!!
  8. Simply amazing match and amazing scoreline....I'm drained!!!
  9. Probably all the shaggin he's doing with this Miss Norway!
  10. I've had enough of the Boleyn ground to last me a lifetime this season...we've been comprehensively tubbed twice there now. WE NEED STRENGTH IN DEPTH IN ATTACK......or face the season petering out to a whimper.
  11. No Dickov, possibly no Bellamy............NO F'KIN CHANCE! Rovers 0 Utd 2 Att: 24,700
  12. Home 2 and the red away. I must voice my concern about the panelling coming over from the back to the front........LEAVE THE HALVES ALONE FFS!!! Also would prefer a darker shade of blue.
  13. Slightly disappointed with the result but the lads clearly gave their all.I feared the three pronged attack of Nistelrooy,Saha and Rooney would be too much for us to cope with in the end, compare that strike force to our championship (at best) quality journeyman up front and what were some of you really expecting to happen on the night in all honesty? . We are in desperate need of another quality striker up front and it was plain for all to see and hear......I listened to the match commentary of Century 105 whilst at work and they were literally laughing at poor old Kuqi, it made you cringe with embarrassment at times! I'm not downhearted though,we have made massive strides under the leadership of Sparky and the club looks in a damn site better position than 12 months ago. P.S. A special word of praise for big Brad friedel.....a colossus amongst Premiership goalkeepers and quite simply the best one ever for Rovers
  14. Kuqi and Bentley start......no Bellamy!
  15. Utd have their fare share of injuries but Rovers facing a possible three pronged attack of Nistelrooy,Saha and Rooney fills me with bad tidings. A bridge too far tonight for us but I hope to god I'm wrong!
  16. And how can the people of Blackburn look to the Walker Trust for cash when they are not willing to go along to consume the product they are trying to provide? Shout it from the rooftops philipl!!!........although not too loud as some sensative souls who reside on here like to ignore reality and have a tendancy to become upset at any criticism of the gode olde Blackburne public Chin chin
  17. Hate to say this but I've never known a player like Bellamy to be injured so much. Great player but the fellas a physical wreck!!
  18. Agree entirely,we can barely scrape 18,000 for a local top flight derby game, its a vicious circle......great advertisement for possible outside investment NOT! P.S. Dingles v Nob End...... 17,000+
  19. Like our manager says 'outside investment'? Hate to say this but has Vinjay, annoying as he was, been vindicated to some extent in his claims?
  20. Dont agree there Roy, look at the backing Souness received in his tenure at Ewood.....upwards of 50 million! Problem is the club were stung very badly with some of the deals = 7 million for the walking disaster that was Grabbi, 7 million for the waster Ferguson, 7 million for Cole and then sold for a bag of chips!!!! the list goes on................ The club has a duty to itself to be financially careful these days but we are all, including the manager, uncertain as to whether that sort of financial clout is still available . . . . . . . . . WE'LL SOON FIND OUT EITHER WAY
  21. Brace yourselves folks!!
  22. The papers appear to be mountiing a concerted effort to completely balls up our chances in the world cup....can they not wait till after the tournament to spill their bilge and accusations? Are they getting backhanders from the Germans?.....the 'fifth column' are alive and well, the enemy within.
  23. He is alo out of contract in the summer. It doesn't need a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together and predict what will happen if the Board and Trustees don't give him a bit more support. You might be spot on there Rev,I got that impression a little in his article It would appear our board are now playing a dangerous game with Hughes being on a 'rolling contract'.......if a club comes a calling with silly money to spend?
  24. Hughes should be applauded for his honest and frank opinion......the man clearly wants success, lets hope the Ewood money men subscribe to his point of view.
