Second biggest cheer of that day apart from Garners winner was when the the Bumley dead head decended through the roof onto his own ilk......did he really think he could fly!!!! That classic moment really did mark the start of your clubs decent into mediocrity were you have remained ever since. ** chuckle chuckle**

The Bumley fans are getting all hot under the collar about which anti-Rovers songs to sing,sick references to Jack walker the lot.... THE BURNLEY CHOIR BOYS THREAD Lets roast the two bob shytes and put them firmly under foot as always!!

Nothing in the world can beat the pre-match hype and banter of a local derby game....... rest assured you Burnley lads can show the white flag anytime you feel like you've had enough!!

Little bit before my time but I've heard about the game in '77...Dean Hayes book East Lancashire Derbies describes Rovers as being 'cheered on by a massive following' Didn't those nasty Rovers lads burn down a Burnley club shop in the town centre for a bit of warmth too!!!!!

Demand was always going to outstrip supply..we had well over 5,000 at Wigan in the league cup a few seasons ago and christ knows this game is much bigger for so,so many reasons. Feel for the folks who missed out but what else could the club do? Once again how many could we have sold!?......BLACKBURN HERE, BLACKBURN THERE, BLACKBURN EVERY F***IN WHERE!!! Lets hope our players mindset mirrors the passion and desire of our supporters when the crunch comes on the day.

The ticket allocation for this game was ridiculously small to be honest,non of the draconian ticket restrictions were in place for this game like the last league meeting at the Turd..with the greatest of respect it looks like people have been far too complacent. Sam, what chance you give us the Bob Lord stand......you just might sell out then!!!

In the queue at 6:30am and at least 100 infront of me then. Stewards advising fans arriving at 10:30 that they are not guaranteed a ticket. Will be sold out by this afternoon.

Fair enough mate,my thoughts go back to the Celtic game and how we shifted 2,500 tickets in 4 hrs,this is a bigger game IMHO. Lets just hope those who want one can get one tomorrow.......

Non season ticket holder- NO CHANCE. It looks like ticket stubs have possibly been changing hands for cash? Our average away support is nowhere near 2,000 but according to some 2,000 have been sold!?

So only roughly 1,900 tickets on sale tomorrow then?...with the greatest of respect Roverite I dont believe a word of your post mate. I'll hold my hand up if your right pal but then you go on to say you dont think we'll sell 1,900 tickets by Friday!?

Lets for once and for all get a few facts right: The last time we played at the Turd the last block of seating in the Cricket field stand towards the Longside was cordoned off by tape and the last two blocks of the Longside lower stand were unoccupied...people who were there know the score. According to a Burnley work colleague, the Cricket/fishwick stand used to hold 4,200 but has been reduced in capacity this season to allow for disabled places...it now officially seats 3,800. Demand WILL be high tommorow and if you see a red eyed and weary night shift worker nodding off in the queue give him a friendly dig in the ribs please...this chap really wouldn't want to miss out!!!

Why could only Rovers fans and not our board see that we desperately needed strenghtening up front?..finances should have been made available!! Very worried where the goals are going to come from.
