It was obvious after last nights game that he thought that would be his last Ewood appearance. He really took his time leaving the pitch, almost the last player off. He went to all four stands and applauded which is something he doesn't usually do. As a side note, how bad is our pitch, I can't remember so many bobbles and uneven bounces of the ball. It needs some serious money spending on it this summer.

I thought there were five or six candidates for MoM. What a difference putting that extra bit of effort makes. Not only does it give the team a better chance but it also lifts the crowd. I think we can put up with a lack of skill but not lack of effort. Well done GB for getting that performance out of the players, a bit of pride was restored to the shirt.
