We're members of an exclusive club. PL winners need to look out for each other.

Isn't it pretty clear by now that our recruitment team (incl. Broughton) have next to no authority to make transfers? They wanted Batth, but it was vetoed, yet Fleck and McFadzean were rushed through in January.

I think JRC is trying too hard to be the creative force at the moment, hence the first-time passes that aren't on. As much as I think Tronstad is a great Championship player, he's not a creative one and in a midfield two that puts pressure on his partner to make things happen. I've always thought Hedges is a good option to have on the bench, but you're in trouble if he's your nailed on starter as his end product just isn't there. -

You extend Dolan's contract because a) it'll be very cheap (his own fault for holding out) and b) we need warm bodies. Gallagher should be shown the door though. Sadly they won't let us spend his wages on other players - they showed that when Ayala, Dack and BBD left and weren't replaced. -

And sadly neither has a footballing brain. -
Good loans cost money. We don't have any.
-
Much like how I can never understand showing a player onto his stronger foot yet it's rife in football - inverted wingers should be so easy to defend. We simply don't have anyone that can score that Hutchinson goal, btw.
-
Ipswich have kicked lumps out of Carvalho.
-
Not entirely sure why #40 hasn't been sent off there.
-
Which tells you that he simply must be awful in training.
-
Ipswich have definitely sold their soul to the devil for this season. They're so lucky. Shit ball into the box, Morton air-shots the clearance and it falls to Hirst 6 yards out to put it into the back of the net. Painful to watch.

That's about where the squad is, sans Kaminski and A. Wharton. -

The attendance numbers are awful for a reason. -
Oh they'll absolutely do us. A bunch of talented show ponies with zero pressure and a party atmosphere? We're going to get battered.
-
This is not true. Chrisene is a better WB than Pickering. Ayari should, quite frankly, be starting most games in CM and McFadzean has won multiple MOTM awards in 6 months. The problem is we didn't bring in any pace or a CF. Again.

The blame lies squarely at the feet of the owners. This squad cost a tuppence and a button to assemble - and the tuppence was spent 4+ years ago on Gallagher. -

I think he's your standard Championship manager. The previous guy was much better, but he was far too ambitious for this lot. A. Wharton aside is a massive caveat considering he was the best player on the pitch most weeks - and evidently continues to be so in the Premier League too. -

If we stay up it's job well done, but by god if we don't reinvest the A. Wharton / Raya money in the summer we're going down next season for sure. -

Going down swinging is how we got into this predicament in the first place. If JDT had been more pragmatic around Christmas, rather than stubbornly playing suicidal football (sending both his FBs bombing on and getting caught on the break time after time) we wouldn't be discussing Birmingham / Plymouth / Sheffield Wednesday now. -

I disagree. Eustace is a fine manager - the problem is everyone is comparing him to an excellent manager that literally paid to leave the club. Said excellent manager also had a better squad. There's also no way he's fired if we get relegated - they don't pay off contracts and he has a 2.5 year one. -

You'd be crying if we went to 4 at the back and they scored the winner on the break too. We simply have no pace - you don't change formation there when you're in control. -

If they don't invest for 4 consecutive transfer windows, then yes, we're doomed. -

Disagree there. We absolutely couldn't afford to lose that game and we were in complete control of it with the current formation. Change players, not formation, in that situation. -

I'm still amazed we allegedly turned down a £2m offer from Ipswich for him in January.
