  1. We went down to 10 men and Mowbray didn't alter his tactics or formation at all. He really was a stubborn, arrogant prick.
  2. I'm not entirely sure that's the case. He was certainly behind Tronstad and A. Wharton in the pecking order - and I gathered that to be able to afford Moran they had to ship out someone. I don't think JDT was happy that it was Buckley. I'd also argue that we need to cool off on the Buckley hype - he's flashed like this before. He needs to do it over 5+ games before I think he's turned a corner.
  3. Oh you can't put Leo back in now, his confidence is shot - but I do think he's the better GK of the two and will go on to have a more impressive career. McFadzean has made the world of difference to our defence imo.
  4. The taps have been turned off for over 18 months. If they don't turn them on again in the summer we're going down I'm afraid.
  5. He's a star man playing with an almost free role as a #10 in a 4-2-3-1. You've seen the last few matches that he struggles playing in a front 3. I don't think many teams are going to play him with a big CF up top either. I don't think there's quite enough to his game to attract PL interest, so I can't see him leaving.
  6. He's not better. Pears had 3 CBs in front of him now, including McFadzean, who wins most of his aerial duels.
  7. Take the point and the clean sheet and move on. We usually gift a win in these situations - away from home, midweek, a team in dire form. It's a nailed on loss.
  8. I think Ayari, Chrisene and the french CB are free loans - the parent club saying "would you mind taking them on for 6 months 'cos their initial loans failed. We'll let you have them for free".
  9. They've lost 7 of 8 - this is manna from heaven for them.
  10. Based purely on that half of football, Szmodics was our worst player. You can also see why Coventry fans said Ayari is too lightweight - he's skillful, but he's been brushed off the ball far too easily so far.
  11. I think he's alright. Athletic and big enough to play as a defensive WB.
  12. He's the best athlete on the team (maybe Carter is a better one, but it'd be between those two). He just doesn't use it enough.
  13. He's not the only one, but he also needs to play much, much better. He's been shite tonight.
  14. For what it's worth, Nat Phillips has looked completely untroubled by Szmodics and Gallagher.
  15. Their lad goes through the back of Tronstad - play on. Their lad nutmegs Hyam and throws himself to the ground - foul. Fun stuff.
  16. Fair play to these Cardiff commentators, they've at least done their homework.
  17. We've had to sell a whole host of players just to keep the lights on. Meanwhile Cardiff don't give one about their electricity bill.
  18. It shows a distinct lack of ambition by the CEO. He'll be employed with the remit to keep us in the league - both this year and going forward - with a shoestring budget. Look forward to being big, physical and good at set pieces for the next few years.
  19. I see Nixon is delighted that Wharton has done so well - his timeline is just him patting himself on the back for 'recognising' him, like a blind man on a galloping horse couldn't see Wharton was a special talent. He really is a twat.
  20. He was crap with England too. Zero time for Hodgson as a manager I'm afraid. Hope this health scare is just that and he comes out the other side fine.
  21. Who could succeed in this climate? He's sold £22m+ of players this year and only been allowed to spend £1.5m, on top of having his wage budget cut by 30%.
