  1. He's gutted he's not at the Bournemouth / Leicester game.
  2. That's two dives from Gordon already. He needs a good kicking.
  3. A proper club would have barred him from entering the ground. He literally robbed us.
  4. Don't put the 5th round of the FA cup midweek then.
  5. The money men beat the money men.
  6. As always, someone else's media team does it better:
  7. Another 3-0 battering for Burnley at the weekend - even Radio Lancashire think they're down now. Are they in massive financial trouble do we think? Spent £110m on absolute duds after spending £40m to win the league last year. They surely won't get anything like the money they spent back on those players.
  8. I won't be going that's for sure. I'd put out the kids / anyone that didn't get on against Norwich. Hell I'd even play Markanday. We need to focus on the league and rest our starting XI.
  9. I'd love a British consortium to buy us - whether they exist is another matter.
  10. When we were losing every aerial duel in the box - we only had Hyam and Carter / S. Wharton who could win a header on the pitch. He's a better shot stopper and better positionally than Pears. Pears was in another post code for that Norwich free kick yesterday, and he literally kicked one into his own net against PNE - but nobody seems to bother criticising him for that.
  11. I thought Brittain was clearly man of the match - Gallagher failed to convert any of his three chances.
  12. Only if you also allow JDT to have more than 2 people that can win a header on the pitch at the same time.
  13. As they should be. We've sold our crown jewel to keep the lights on ('cos our owners are embroiled in a tax evasion scandal at the moment) and we've publicly embarrassed the club for a third time in 12 months by deliberately sabotaging a transfer through an 'administrative' error on deadline day. They're lucky anyone turns up.
  14. I don't think Pears is playing any better than Wahlstedt. The return of Gallagher and the addition of McFazdean means we're actually winning headers at set pieces again. We were losing every aerial duel in the box for months before that, which was why we were shipping goals.
  15. Yes, he picked the team. He even came down from the stands in the second half.
  16. To play 3-4-3 you need athletes upfront and out wide. Brittain, Hedges and Gallagher are athletes, but nobody else is - and we know the final ball / first touch of two of those is terrible. Szmodics has scored twice under Eustace, so he's hardly sidelined him.
  17. Bloody hell. I'm one of the JDT diehards, but even I can see that Eustace has come in and quickly picked up 6 points having been handed a squad massively out of form. I expected nothing from today, away against PNE or, quite frankly given our club history, away at Cardiff (we usually gift out of form teams a win). The football isn't pretty, but it's effective. We've nullified Cardiff, PNE and Norwich in back-to-back-to-back games. He's grinding out results. It's not aspirational football, but we're not there anymore - the Venkys have seen to that.
  18. Must be nice to be allowed to bring in two coaches with you. JDT was only allowed one. God I hate this team.
  19. I still think many are being very unfair on Garrett. He's barely played any football. He desperately needed a loan out in January to a L1 club - instead he's being thrust into the middle of a relegation battle at 20.
  20. I think Leonard is a better footballer than Gallagher. Let's see where he is in a couple of years.
  21. We upgraded on quality, like for like, but it cost us £4m to do so and the squad depth didn't improve.
  22. I went out for the second half - tell you what, that's a cracking save from their 'keeper for the Dolan chance.
