Silvinho told him to get up - the lad (a CM) jogged back into position, feigning holding his 'injured' back for all of 5 seconds before he ran to close someone down. It's an automatic yellow card for mine.

Walker is light years better than TAA at RB - the only time you'd bring TAA on is if the other team has absolutely given up attacking and you're camped in their half. I'd start Watkins for Kane and Wharton for TAA next match. I'd also have Palmer off the bench as first change. Going from Saka and Foden to Bowen and Eze is a monumental drop off in quality.

Agreed - Foden every time and twice on match day. Get Watkins on stretching the field.

That's on the manager - Kane drops too deep too. Bellingham basically plays where he wants - it disrupts the entire team.

Bellingham doesn't have the fight to play CM. I thought he could play there too until the last two games where he's jogged around and thrown himself to the floor at any contact.

Used properly this lot would give the 'Golden Generation' lot fits. Alas Southgate doesn't know what to do with them.

He wouldn't play for me - clogs up the midfield and offers zero outlet upfront. We need pace to run in behind, which would open up everything for Saka / Bellingham / Foden / Palmer to run riot.

Which is bonkers when you look at the players we have at our disposal. Imagine being Palmer, scoring for fun and watching Eze and Bowen come on before you. Baffling.

A striker willing, and able, to run in behind rather than thinking he's Messi. Imagine that.
