  1. That plus plenty of fans have been very complimentary of us - "best team we've played this season".
  2. To be fair he's pretty consistent - if you're Japanese you can get your leg snapped and he's not pulling out a card.
  3. Fair play, that's bloody brilliant from Tavares. Granted it's December and that's the first good thing he's done, but credit to him.
  4. They've volleyed the ball blindly, Pickering style, into the middle of the pitch twice this game without being punished. We need to be switched on for that - it's a goal waiting to happen.
  5. Love a shirt tug do Pompey. LOL Ohashi booked for going for the ball - GK kicks him on the follow through. Lang wipes out Pears. Nothing.
  6. Gudjohnsen got booked earlier this season for going in late on a GK - so I expect this ref to follow suit...
  7. How is that not a yellow on #14 for them?!?!
  8. Should probably be 1-0. Gudjohnsen puts a very good chance over.
  9. Unless he's carrying a niggling injury, there's no reason to drop him. His performances have been fine. He's 22, it's sink or swim time for him as as Championship footballer.
  10. LOL another head injury in the box for us where the ref doesn't stop the game. Thankfully that ball bounced out of play. Against Oxford they scored from it instead. Poor refereeing, as per.
  11. I do enjoy the narrative that the away fans are heroes, but the home fans are Venky stooges.
  12. Why must he be match fit by now?
  13. Gardner-Hickman is a much better player than Tavares. I have to assume he's injured.
  14. Why drop Pratt and Gardner-Hickman?
  15. It'd be quite a chuckle watching JRC trying to play RWB.
  16. Where did he say Baradji, Tavares and Gardner-Hickman are considered box-to-box midfielders? If you're going to relentlessly argue with him, at least be honest.
  17. Not sure it was a 'comfortable' option, more a frustrated one where we've traipsed down to Ewood Park twice this season in the rain only to see the match abandoned. It's quite a time commitment. With no apology for Saturday and no resolution in sight, how could we trust this club to fulfil the fixture if it rains?
  18. There was a moment in the second half where the ball was played to Tavares near the edge of our box (by I assume Ribeiro, but it was by someone occupying that spot). Instead of turning on the ball into absolutely acres of space he played a simple pass the direction he was facing. Even Rovers commentary team, who see everything through rose tinted glasses, groaned.
  19. I'm amazed Gardner-Hickman gets so much grief on here.
  20. Did they have a shot on goal, besides the blatant foul the ref ignored?
  21. Early days, but he looks promising that's for sure.
