  1. Does seem curious - that's five out the door now, right? Hirst, Mola, Edun, Brown and Annesley.
  2. He's a L1 player. Assuming they're paying his wages for 6 months with a view to moving him on for good in the summer this is a good piece of business. He's played 190 minutes in 6 months for a reason, he's simply not good enough for this level.
  3. Some players don't kick on from their youth days. He's absolutely one of them.
  4. Clearing out the dead wood.
  5. What app / programme is that?
  6. Bloody hell they're having their pants pulled down there.
  7. He doesn't have a footballing brain. I'd much rather play Dolan and Markanday than Khadra.
  8. Worth £4.5m according to Transfermarkt with 12 months left on his contract, so I doubt it.
  9. As I said in the Norwich game chat, quite a few of our players have come on leaps and bounds under JDT and Remy Reijnierse.
  10. They shouldn't have to put money in - honestly the only way this is going to work is if Broughton / JDT / Waggot (gags) generate their own transfer / salary funds through player sales (and perhaps cup runs) and tell the Venkys to keep their hands off. Otherwise you're literally at the whim of a bunch of nutters in India.
  11. What is this obsession with a midfield enforcer? We need someone in there that can pass the ball - the reason why the 'playing out from the back' style is so maligned by a good portion of our fanbase is because our CMs don't consistently give the CBs an option. We literally need a Tugay.
  12. Hence why it's a big statement of intent - has Brougton convinced the owners that it's in our best interest to sell BBD and reinvest the money, or is it more of the same scratching around with peanuts when we desperately need reinforcements.
  13. Playing devil's advocate here, was this our choice or Leicester's?
  14. I don't know why people bait him - just let him be.
  15. He used the Carabao Cup to give fringe / young players a run out. He kept with that policy against West Ham and Notts Forest - we beat West Ham's strong side, but not Forest's. I have no problem with that. He's clearly treating the FA cup as a more premium competition - which it is as the prize money per round is significant.
  16. He didn't get on - JDT brought on Hedges for Vale as we were hanging on at the end.
  17. We're hardly flooded with options upfront. If we don't bring anyone in during this window he'll get game time. There's clearly a player in there.
  18. I still think Kaminski is a better all-round GK.
  19. Did they create a clear cut chance? Maybe the fluffed header from the corner, but otherwise it was all hopeful shots.
  20. He never looked destined for the Premier League, but it's true that he can't play in this system. He isn't good enough on the ball.
  21. He was excellent against Blackpool. He was subbed at half time against West Ham. Bearing in mind how many players have come on leaps and bounds under JDT I'm inclined to believe he's handling A. Wharton correctly - he is only 18.
  22. Weird thing to presume there's a grudge.
  23. This ref has given us nothing. I've lost count of the number of times our players have been bowled over without a free kick.
  24. On the contrary JDT clearly believes Wharton is a brilliant player, but he's 18 with maturity issues.
  25. We've literally had to sub Carter cos he's on a yellow. Thanks ref.
