  1. I think your method is flawed. I renewed my season ticket this morning, however, I had to call the club to do so. My seat was blocked out as reserved online - and obviously until about 8 hours ago it was technically empty.
  2. You can look at it one of two ways. If you're being negative you can say that we have a lot of holes to fill and not a lot of time to fill them. If you're being positive you can say that JDT and GB have a lot of flexibility to shape this team. If anything I was disappointed with Mowbray extending Gallagher - he's lumped Sam on the next manager on (I'm sure) pretty substantial wages.
  3. I think he's waiting for a reply from his PSG job application.
  4. We'll see how he responds to training. He couldn't run last season, and he was never the most mobile to begin with.
  5. I thought Travis should have been captain last season. I've never thought of Lenihan as a leader, just the most senior pro. We'll see what JDT makes of the squad in pre-season - he might even bring in his own captain.
  6. He's gone to play for an excellent manager who has chased him for years. Fair play to him.
  7. Tbf if I'm the Head of Comms I want Mowbray on camera as little as possible. He sucks the life out of a room on a good day.
  8. You'd be livid if you've forked out full price and the club turn round and slash prices in the wake of JDT's announcement.
  9. I think he engaged with the players that engaged with him - Travis carries himself as a leader so JDT will respect that. There were a lot of players sat slumped in their chairs and plenty more giving limp wristed handshakes. To be fair they've had 5 years of Mowbray, that'd break many people. Let's see how they carry themselves 6 months from now. I do love that he set his stall out though (paraphrasing) "All of my decisions are for the betterment of the team". Either you pull your weight or you're on the bench (and then out of the club). Can't say fairer than that.
  10. I think that's what they call 'man management'. I forgot what it looked like after five years of Tone.
  11. Wait until she sees his wallet.
  12. They'd put 5 past our current team without even breaking sweat.
  13. Easier said than done - he's on good money and just signed a new contract.
  14. Aye, but many outsiders thought we should be pretty chuffed with the job Mowbray was doing. Always keen to hear a fans view.
  15. You think Lenihan was a good leader?!
  16. Apologies if I missed it - what do the Malmo fans think of him?
  17. I'll see what he does in the transfer market (yes I know, I know, Gregg is going to handle all of that 🙄) and how he sets his team up before proclaiming him the Messiah.
  18. Prepping for their upcoming relegation then.
  19. Unless there's a couple of Academy kids ready to make the step up you're light in CM there - we currently only have 2 of Championship quality on the books (Buckley and Travis). My priority in the coming days would be to get Nyambe to sign a new contract - he's a top-tier Championship RB and would solve a massive recruitment problem. Beyond that it depends what system JDT plays and where he thinks the current players in the squad fit. He'll have to work out what he's doing with 'tweener' players like Hedges, Dolan, JRC, Dack and Markanday. I don't know if they fit in his favoured formation (reported to be a 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1). Mowbray has basically done what Bowyer did - acquired players and not thought about where he's going to play them. I hope those days are behind us.
  20. I'm sure transfers are a group effort - they're not just going to lump him with players. That's how Man Utd work and it's a clown show. They'll scout players and bring a list of them to him - then they'll collaborate to bring in the right ones.
  21. Kamran Inayat - is that an Indian name? Oh nvm, I didn't realise Kamy was Northern Rover on twitter.
  22. "Oh you fancy yourself as a LWB do you Ryan? Not for me son. Have you ever seen Mahrez play? I reckon you're a RW."
  23. I'll be renewing - I wouldn't have done if they'd appointed someone like Pardew or Ferguson. At least they've given it a go with this guy (albeit it's a risk).
  24. We saw in January - the fans WANT to come back, you just have to give them something to believe in (and some sensible ticket prices).
  25. I actually think Gallagher would score plenty with the right service... and I'm hardly his biggest fan.
