I hope we put out a weakened team - give the starting 11 a rest as they've been played pretty much without rotation. We have a sliver of a chance of getting promoted out of this god-awful division this year, let's not waste it by getting wrapped in up the magic of the FA Cup.

The pitch didn't help us at all. The ball held up and it clearly took a toll on our legs. That's two matches already that have been ruined because we didn't invest in the pitch / drainage system this winter. Sadly more to follow I fear.

We've switched to a system that puts the emphasis on counter attacking (our strength) and more importantly we're putting out an unchanged side most weeks. It makes a hell of a difference when you play with the same guys next to you each week - you start to understand their patterns and develop a partnership.

Translated as "we didn't fancy playing the game so found a way out of it".
