  1. Not understanding the positive reviews of Axel, he's looked shit to me so far.
  2. So obviously now a Bradford player has crunched him and he'll probably be injured for weeks or something knowing our luck.
  3. Well that was a bollocks half. Shite. Tavares the only player who has impressed me at all (when I've been able to bare to watch this shit). Most of the rest poor, some embarrassingly so (Michalski, Montgomery, Henriksson, all looking miles off the pace). De Neve's first miss was embarrassing too, but he took his goal well. Gueye been ok, needs to take a chance though. Miller's throw problematic. The first 5 minutes was peak Venkys era Rovers.
  4. And even if it had been, he moved backwards so that it took longer to get to him while the attack charged him down.
  5. He has nothing to be cocky about on current evidence.
  6. Wow, 1921 since Bradford won here. We love sorting out records like that.
  7. So much wrong with what Michalski did there. Didn't need to be pedalling back, shouldn't have took a touch with the man so near, the touch was piss weak. Then nearly got sent off trying to recover. He's going to need mental strength tonight, he's making Pears look like Buffon.
  8. Not sure why we have started two players still wearing headgear because of their stitches from a few days ago. One of them eas absolutely nowhere near the goalscorer in his territory there. And Montgomery is the other one who should be picking that up. Wow, Michalski ruining his career here
  9. Hmm I assume it's Henriksson playing wide, not Tyjon. Hopefully he can impact the game more tonight, I'd argue there's less of the pitch to have to focus on out wide, so might suit him more for now since he isn't used to everybody's movement and the tactics yet. Plus weaker opposition so I expect more tonight. As for Kargbo, maybe he can't do 90 minutes, but he needs to be given at least 60 to start getting to that point. Unless the plan is starting him on Saturday, then I hope he at least comes on at half time.
  10. Good point. Both razors could apply so it's very likely just because our internet content people are dogshit.
  11. I don't think that'll be up on KentExile's wall somehow πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰
  12. I always get a bit anxious playing lower league sides in the cups. We've had plenty of embarrassing scalpings before.
  13. I'll wager Bradford are an easier team to score against for our regular forwards than WBA though. But I expect Tyjon to play tonight.
  14. The lad had a baseball cap on all preseason. I'm convinced enough to consider it fact at this point.
  15. I think we should Occam's Razor this one actually - our internet team are shite.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised if VI wasn't too impressed with the hair transplant gone wrong as a reason to miss a proper preseason, and the relationship may have deteriorated from there. Just a guess of course.
  17. Well we are favourites, just. The odds suggest the bookies don't really know which way this is going (or at least, after they've had betting in from fans they've weighted it so it could be seen as going any way).
  18. I'm too unlucky to risk betting on Rovers to win. When we balls it up I'd feel it was all my fault πŸ˜… Those are generous odds for us to overcome a League One side at home though.
  19. If he's better than Toth at 18 he's going to be the next Raya.
  20. That's from League One to the Championship though. I was talking about the increase in TV money for Championship clubs before the start of last season that you mention. Regarding the figure, I'll be honest, I plucked it from AI because I couldn't be bothered to look thoroughly. It's a little lower than I thought I remembered hearing (which was about 2 mill in my vague memory). But I do remember at the time of the announcement thinking it really wasn't all that much of an improvement all things considered. And if 40 million of sales barely touches the sides, neither will the TV deal sadly, under these clowns. Somehow we always seem to need to cost cut, no matter how much we have and no matter how much extra money appears.
  21. Yes I came here to post this. Aggregating over oddschecker with the most generous odds for each outcome: Rovers win - 2.6 (to 1) Bradford win - 2.9 Draw - 3.55 I mean come on. I know the cup is a leveller, there is the potential for (both sides) to rotate squads and they're in better 'form' in the limited game time so far...but we are a whole league above them and at home. I do think we could potentially slip on a banana skin here, but I'm a bit insulted those are the odds!
