  1. The more I think about how Butterworth didn't even get on the pitch, the more pissed off I get. I mean what kind of message does it put out to our youngsters that you can be scintillating on Tuesday but not even get off the bench on Saturday? Instead, the lad you replaced on the Tuesday, who we don't own and has done nothing so far, comes on instead of you!
  2. Manager conspired to try and throw it away, doomed us to a point. Absolute liability, sick of him despite the good points haul so far.
  3. Clarkson missing our best chance of the game apart from the BB one on one. Have to wonder if Butterworth would have finished it with that rocket shot he has in his locker. Khadra looking a threat.
  4. Pickering nearly scoring a bizarre own goal. That's 3 times we have nearly conceded in the last what, 10 minutes? All since the defensive subs brought on to hold onto the point. Fucking clown.
  5. Away draws are fine, by and large. What is going to really stick in the throat though, if we do hold onto a point, is the manager's infuriating decision making AGAIN. Butterworth helped visibly transform the game on Tuesday. So instead of repeating the trick that worked (him and Khadra on, one of them for a more pedestrian midfielder) he repeats the trick that undid us last Saturday (defensive subs). He just doesn't learn.
  6. Should have conceded there. Defensive subs working a treat.
  7. He was excellent on Tuesday when he came on. So of course we made two defensive subs instead. Sucks having a negative bastard in charge
  8. Happy to sit back, how did that work out against Luton again?
  9. Edun on for Rothwell. Another defensive sub on the face of it
  10. Terrific ball from Khadra there, poor first touch from BB saw him overrun it and lose the chance. Barsnley missed a good opening right after.
  11. Kaminski - the only reason we aren't losing today yet.
  12. Defensive sub. Mowbray has decided a point is as good as we are getting today. Also means Buckley on the right, which is always a travesty.
  13. Kills you, buries you and pisses on your corpse at the funeral.
  14. I mean, that one was yeh. He can't really cross well with any consistency, he is better at hitting the byline in the box and cutting it back.
  15. You can spin it how you want, yes, but it's this season not last season. It's the Championship - it doesn't matter how good they were last season, they could easily finish at the other end this season, and so far they are. Them being down there now, regardless of where they finish, shows they have started the season badly. So at the least, we played then when they were in bad form.
  16. Jesus christ, I remember comments about aspiring to be Brentford, but did he really say it would take 5 years to build to where they were at the time? That's shocking, but the worst part is that it was probably wildly optimistic under current club management.
  17. Yeh there are nicer non-league stadiums than that now.
  18. The real deal? Presumably not on the same kind of level they see Phillips as the real deal?
  19. I don't mind Buckley and think he could still have a good future, but there would be plenty of names on the sheet before his.
  20. Don't think its been mentioned here yet unless I was being dozy, but Phillips has agreed to a 3 year deal (most that can be done for now) for when he turns 17.
  21. As I am struggling to understand the point you're trying to make. You've decided it's a non-story because you've also decided something is happening in the background which you know nothing about. Anybody can make up some crap happening in the background to try to explain away anything. As we have seen with these ludicrous covid conspiracy theories. Basically you're failing the burden of proof to declare this a non-story.
  22. ....or, they're using a combination of analytics and live scouts, both of which probably yield finds and support the results of each other.
  23. So it's a definite non story because you've fabricated another way in which staff may or may not be getting around it? Right...
