  1. I cant stand the way people are making excuses for our poor perfomances. Firstly i would like to point out that none of the 3 penalties that were given today should have been given in the first place... None of our signings from the summer or during the season have looked any good at all. The only person who came out of this game deserving credit was Brad Friedel. I am very very concerned... We need to sign new midfielders, but its too late now...
  2. Sounds like were crap again in midfield today, were also being outplayed AGAIN. WE NEED A NEW MIDFIELDER!!! Also put on Peter at half time...
  3. Apparently Michael has got himself banned from several pubs in Manchester...? Still dont think this is the type of player we should have representing us...
  4. Sorry but i have to laugh at this. We forked out £2 million-ish for Ooijer, he's 2 months older then Henchoz and we're concerned that because of his age Henchoz might not be able to do a job. Tell you what, id love to see Henchoz give Ooijer a run for his money!!
  5. Easy explanation to that one, who owns Sky and the Sun, and also has majpr stakes in ManuTv?? 3 things bother me about this: 1- Who in there right mind would wanna boff something thats been soiled by that ginger fat lump of a footballer? 2- They are professionals, and should be providing better role models for younger fans, this should not be the No.1 footie story in the media and just goes to show how stupid the media can be sometimes and 3- Gray should not be drinking so much right in the middle of so many games, he should also be aware that every day he plays for Rovers he is representing them when he is not playing... We should get rid of him as this is not the attitude a veteran professional footballer should have... Oh and by the way, about the "if Wayne Rooney had done the same thing would Manu get rid of him" well you cant really compare someone so overated to Gray... I would get rid of Gray and would never sign Rooney if a footie manager... i would rather have Crouchy too...!
  6. It'll be something along the lines of, "i dunno what happened, i saw my mate Wayne and went up to see how he was, i then offered him and Coleen a coffee at my place and he went mental" lol Question, if he offered a 3some does that mean that he was prepared to see Waynes ginger minge??
  7. Not last night, last weekend... He allowed himself to get punched by Wayne Rooney after apparently offering a 3some to Coleen. What a plank!!
  8. Stand corrected, i just read what everyone else said and i only just woke up... So still half a sleep. Dude get your facts right, where did the 'O' come from? lol
  9. I wonder if contract talks will be halted after what happened last night. Dont get me wrong, i hate Wayne Rooney, but you dont want one of your supposedly first team veteran players doing that in public, i say get rid of Gray i mean its about time we got in a replacement for him anyway...
  10. I say offer him a 2 year deal with an option to a third. He's still a class player, ah finally a transfer i can smile at!! Id also like to see Michael Gray leave after what he did last night!!
  11. I am all for a complete takeover of Blackburn personally. I have always thought Rovers were on the verge of big things, but the way they have reacted to being in Europe this season in the transfer market has been very negative. With the acception of Benni i think our signings during the summer and just before the transfer window have been more than poor. I think we are less than prepared for Europe and have wasted all of last seasons work by doing so... There was talk of us being taken over by one of Romans Abramovich's friends in Russia last summer 05 but it never seemed to happen. In conclusion, i think a team such as Rovers does have to move with the times... and a financial takeover is the best way to acompolish this in my opinion...
  12. Still think we should have got Liam Miller from Manu... Free transfer, low wages and not much of a risk, not much more of a risk then Jeffers anyway...
  13. I agree totally, i dont understand the logic in raising transfer funds if your not going to spend it. Besides what good is transfer money in January if we have already been knocked out of Europe...? Our midfield has proven weak in the first games of the season, so what do we do to rectify this... Sell Jon Douglas, a Republic of Ireland International, who we never really gave a chance too... Nearly everyone on this board was screaming out for a midfielder to be brought in, and Sparky seemed to back up this idea by going to see the Norweigan chappy Haested (sp) playing vs Brazil... I have always maintained we rely too much on Tugay, but he is getting on, and his match fitness is slowly getting worse, injuries and tiredness... By getting rid of Douglas and Johnson i thought we were freeing up room in our squad for another fairly big midfielder to be brought in, as we were also linked with the likes of Petrov, the thing i least expected was our only accomplishment of the transfer deadline day to be a loan move for someone who has consistently suffered from injuries over the last 2 years, and if his injuries begin flairing up again as people who have constant injuries sometimes do... We are left with an unreliable Jeffers and unproven Derbyshire... I was absolutely dismayed to see we had sold Kuqi to Palace this morning, after he had scored some very important goals for us last season, we repay him by replacing him with someone as unreliable as Nonda and Jeffers... Im sorry, but i do shake my head to this... One thing i would ask is, if we have sold all these players and brought next to nobody in with our transfer funds (excluding signings like Roberts and Benni as this is Bellamy's transfer funds), how much do we have left to spend in January, thats if the Rovers management and Board can be bothered to sign anyone after we have most probably been knocked out of Europe and will most probably have been struggling in the league... I must admit, i am both worried and very dissapointed...
  14. Too many players got rid of, and not enough brought in in my opinion. I still think we should have given Douglas more of a chance... Oh well...
  15. Did the writer of that message get removed from the BRFC Supporters Messageboard then?? I actually do agree with what he says, and do think the team needs a new owner, like Villa has just got...
  16. Agreed 100% des, in that it shouldnt take 2 weeks to say no. As for the age thing, im 22, and have kinda been forced to grow up quicker in my earlier years for certain reasons...
  17. Well i live near Brighton on the south coast, south of London, Rovers have always been my team and always will be my team...
  18. If we sell him how much do you think we can expect to get...? Manchester City, Portsmouth, Leeds, Sunderland and his former club Bolton are all aparently interested...?
  19. Shame isnt it, wish it was 1995 allover again... Except for the last day when we lost to Liverpool. lol
  20. Try living near Spurs ground then. lol Besides we have £'s here!! and considering our grounds capacity is 31367, having 55,000 people in Ewood would provide one hell of a safety risk. lol Never mind, i got it out my system, feel better now! lol
  21. If he had of said that, the truth in the first place, he wouldnt have disapointed allot of fans, and would not have wasted 2 weeks of Sparky's time... Oh well I am over it, just feel a little disapointed about where he went today thats all
