Rubbish. Not one Ipswich player appealed for it and he wasn't in the line of sight of the keeper. It was appalling decision by appalling ref. PL quality
Cardiff scored a very similar goal at Ewood this season which was disallowed for the same reason.
I presume that was the correct decision, but this one wasn't?

Pretty sure they are capped at £30 a ticket for any Premier League game
Ipswich are selling season tickets from Monday, starting from £381 an adult. So cheaper than us, in a more affluent region, and offering a far superior product, despite 'not knowing what league they are going to be in'
How is that possible Waggott?
Only for away fans. Think the post above referenced that they charge home fans up to £50 for the top games.
Anyway, expect some half baked "early bird" offer in around a month or so.

Broughton actually said another deal nearly happened but didn't. He name checked our CEO as agreeing the deal with a club where he has contacts. PerkS would and that to the catalogue of errors and undermining which caused Tomasson to leave. Broughton must have felt usurped undermined too with that and the Fleck deal.
Wasn't this the Fleck deal?

Imagine being a club in the second tier of English football and charging £47 for tickets… Absolutely obscene.
A Leeds fan at work was saying, they try to price out away fans, so they can justify reducing allocations and then sell them to home fans. Proper dick move.
It is, but Leeds offer every club reciprocal ticket prices, we just chose not take it up.

Leeds tickets subsidised by 25% by Rovers...

My first thought was Gallagher for the un named player. Ties in with JDT liking him and him being on a big wage to get off the books.
Alternative shout maybe someone like Garrett, who JDT liked and while not on a big wage we were desperately thin in that area so could see JDT going off on one if he was going aswell as Trav and Wharton.

Of all the things JDT could be aggrieved about that doesn't sound like it should be very high up the list.
Why would he be upset about a loan deal being arranged for a player he rated?
And also difficult to believe this player wouldnt have been an improvement on the players we did end up with who Broughton presumably did sign?
Plus as we used to keep getting told, he was a head Coach and not a manager so wouldn't have had the sole say on incomings.
Guessing it was an out going player, and with the squad thin enough as it is why would he want someone else leaving?

Have one of the forwards providing width down the side we're attacking with the other more central.. Could also play more direct with two strikers- loose balls to Szmodics.I think we should try Gallagher on the wing, might work 😁

How convenient.

I really hope the Fans forum go to town on them whenever the next meet is, and tell Waggott and whoever else rocks up that they don't buy that statement one little bit.

What confirmed this even more, was that months of JDT calling out Waggot and taking the piss out of him about various things including the bus saw nothing happen, but the first time he mentions Suhail he was gone within a week.

Ipswich are a good side but we are more than good enough to beat them. Cardiff beat them 2 weeks ago. So they aren't unbeatable. People need to believe in this team and stop with this deafest attitude people have.
2 wins in 20 Chaddy.

Let’s hope the players and management don’t read this forum.
We can’t go into any game between now and the end of the season thinking it’s lost before kick off.
To be fair they haven't given us much of a reason to think otherwise over the past 20 games.
Can't see us winning, maybe we'll scrape another draw.

Fuck me that's a bold statement.
I mean I could be wrong obviously!
If there was just one or two teams between us and the relegation zone I wouldn't be as confident at all, because I don't think we're very good.
But the fact there are 5 teams between us dropping in there, we also have a 3pt buffer and a better GD than all but one of the teams below us. They are all in rotten form too.
I just don't see them all suddenly starting to put a few wins together, I fully believe that we could end up drawing our way to safety and ending the season with 2 wins from 28.
Would be nice to get at least one win though!

This is supposed to be the pessimism thread 😉
Stating “no chance we go down this season” is beyond optimistic.
Suppose it is 😁
I just think the sheer amount of sides between us and 22nd will save us. They won't all start winning every week.
Think 6 more points does us.

Lost 2 out of the last 10.
Won 2 out of the last 20.

People can look at stats but it is still no wins for Eustace. The only win being Johnson's since he started. Will picking up draws be enough?
I think one win and a few more draws does it.
The sides below us are garbage and wont be winning many more between now and end of the season, they have all had there purple patches a few weeks ago and we're still above them all.
No chance we go down this season.

Wasn’t there. What’s the chant?
I don't care about venkys, they don't care about me, all I care about is BRFC.
There's a Facebook page called "Away Days" that has a pic of our following yesterday.
Those pages are usually full of piss taking but there's loads of comments from boro fans saying how superb we were yesterday and best fans at the Riverside etc.
Really proud of the fanbase yesterday and would love for the Bburn end to get that going on Good Friday.

Huge credit to whoever came up with the venkys chant.
Non confrontational, no swearing and no rapidly chanting venkys out without some berk piping in with "well what do we do without them".
To have nearly 1000 fans singing it in unison for that second half gave me hope that there is a beating heart left in the fanbase. Not a single bit of division in todays following.
As for the game it is what it is, probably our best under Eustace which isn't saying much, never looked like winning but a decent point to take away.
Incredible that by the end of the season we could end up staying in the league by winning 2 out of our last 28 games, shows what miracles our previous manager worked with this squad.

I don't expect any points away to Boro.
If we get a single point v Ipswich it will be something at least.
Our best hope is those currently below or near us do worse than us. Relying on others misfortune is a sad way to go in any venture
Yep completely agree.
Looking at this weekend fixtures, the only win I can see from anyone below us is Huddersfield at Rotherham.

Yeah my guess is Waggott won't have the first clue what has happened at the court case yesterday.
The fact that there is another date set in August tells me it's "business as usual" though as it was always going to be.
-
Didn't realise he had gone nearly 1000 days without a game, that's a hell of a long time out.
How has he done last couple of games? At 21, a bit like Sam Barnes these lads really need to get on with there careers.

Kids for a Quid v Ipswich is great on Good Friday but we need to do more. It should be £10 for adults (£5 in Riverside) & kids for free all over the ground v Southampton.
Unless your child is 12 or over, then it's £10.

These sort of mid-table teams should be exactly who you want to play when desperate for a win.
Problem is we're not desperate to win unfortunately.
