  1. Venkys will never ever sell the club of there own accord.

If the investigation goes there way venkys will always do enough to keep us out of administration, but it will be a slow decline into the lower leagues possibly with a first ever stint in the 4th division at some point.

The only hope the club has is if the authorities over there makes them sell the club or refuse funds coming over, and I genuinely think that won't happen.

Think everyone has forgot about the player himself, they could offer 25 ml and I don’t think Adam would go there. He knows there are more interesting teams watching him including Newcastle who I think will be his destination, when they sell a couple and be in a position to buy again re FFP.

I don't think you go to the trouble of making bids without knowing if the player is interested or not.

It's not football manager where you just go and bid for anyone you fancy, months of work goes into these sorts of things before you actually make a bid for someone.

If we get £20m guaranteed for Wharton and it allows us to spend at least £10m on 3 quality players, I'd reluctantly say we should. CM is probably our strongest area - Tronstad and JRC will probably play and there's Garrett and Buckley when he returns, as well as the Swedish loanee. Sometimes you have to cash in to build the rest of the team.

Again, like the many other posts that say the same thing, what has happened in the last 13 years to suggest that this is a possibility?!

    And there is the risk

If Wharton is sold for £18 million there is NO guarantee that ANY of the money will be spent on new players but will be used to reduce debt and / or everyday running costs.

I'd be amazed if any is spent on new players. At best you might get another Telalovic or another O'Riordon.

Thats not our Wiki page for starters, blindingly obvious even if you just look at the link you posted and if you read literally the opening sentence it says: Wrexham A.F.C. was the football club's 156th season.

    Here it is; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrexham_A.F.C.

Always happy to educate - I'm not offended either. Just some fans on this thread were asking why some of our fans 'have a bee in their bonnet' etc and its guff like this which is most likely why.

I don't think you read the original post properly.

Let's see in 10 days time.

Undav changed his mind. Can't fault us for that. O'Brien we discussed to death no need to do so again

Think they got enough to do before the deadline without meeting me

Explained last night how we could spend in this window. Did you miss that?

    I did, please explain.

If we had signed Undav and O'Brien in that window we would got playoffs for sure.

We need signings. 4 or 5 minimum. Simple as

Didn't happen so it means nothing.

Just because we need them doesn't mean we will get them.

I will be amazed if we get 4-5 players in with nobody going the other way.

At least 4 or 5 players needed. 2 centre backs, right winger and striker. Plus another if we sell or loan players like Gallagher and Markanday

How you say not a chance?

The logic certainly points that way.

When was the last January window that we came out stronger than when we went into it?

Let me guess, "it will be different this time"
