Relatively impressed given the opposition and time of day. Probably on a par with what we’d get for a regular league game on a weekday night.
Also a good chance to see us win, as we won't be winning at Ewood any time soon in the league.

3 wins in there last 23 league games Huddersfield.
I imagine we'll end up with a similar record before long.

Last time Ipswich were in the Prem i saw it mentioned on their forum that 25% of their ST's came from Colchester.
When they were crap under McCarthy then dropped out the Championship i don't think they were getting 20k never mind 29.
Between 2017-2019 they were averaging around 16k with gates as low as 11k for some games.

Venkys will never ever sell the club of there own accord.
If the investigation goes there way venkys will always do enough to keep us out of administration, but it will be a slow decline into the lower leagues possibly with a first ever stint in the 4th division at some point.
The only hope the club has is if the authorities over there makes them sell the club or refuse funds coming over, and I genuinely think that won't happen.

All tickets go off sale at 5 pm.
Can still buy "digitally" up until kick off can't you?

5th round has been midweek for years now.

Be £30 adults if we get through tomorrow.

There are funds to get us to the end of season which people were concerned about, so it has at least cleared that up.
There are funds, or there will be when this Wharton deal goes through.

The statement is, there is no statement.

Yeah there was no way Jon wanted Semir, but when presented with him or nobody in the last few hours of the window you might aswell take him and see if you can do anything with him.

Almost 8pm in India now.
They lively to be releasing statements that late in evening?
They won't be releasing anything.
Any statement will be coming from Waggott pretending its from them probably.

As said further up any message will be just some kind of fully committed nonsense.
Not a chance the club will ever be put up for sale by these idiots unfortunately.

Klopp has just announced he's leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

Either way, this situation has become farcical and can’t continue much longer.
Yet I bet you a steak dinner that it does.

I think the last one was delayed 3 times before the court appearance and approval. So I can see this being delayed quite easily till June/July before approval to send the cash comes through.
Where this puts our cash flow I have no idea.
Adam Wharton solves that.

Think everyone has forgot about the player himself, they could offer 25 ml and I don’t think Adam would go there. He knows there are more interesting teams watching him including Newcastle who I think will be his destination, when they sell a couple and be in a position to buy again re FFP.
I don't think you go to the trouble of making bids without knowing if the player is interested or not.
It's not football manager where you just go and bid for anyone you fancy, months of work goes into these sorts of things before you actually make a bid for someone.

If we get £20m guaranteed for Wharton and it allows us to spend at least £10m on 3 quality players, I'd reluctantly say we should. CM is probably our strongest area - Tronstad and JRC will probably play and there's Garrett and Buckley when he returns, as well as the Swedish loanee. Sometimes you have to cash in to build the rest of the team.
Again, like the many other posts that say the same thing, what has happened in the last 13 years to suggest that this is a possibility?!

And there is the risk
If Wharton is sold for £18 million there is NO guarantee that ANY of the money will be spent on new players but will be used to reduce debt and / or everyday running costs.
I'd be amazed if any is spent on new players. At best you might get another Telalovic or another O'Riordon.

Haha what a strange response.
Properly rattled this lot, what's wrong with you?!

Thats not our Wiki page for starters, blindingly obvious even if you just look at the link you posted and if you read literally the opening sentence it says: Wrexham A.F.C. was the football club's 156th season.
Here it is; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrexham_A.F.C.
Always happy to educate - I'm not offended either. Just some fans on this thread were asking why some of our fans 'have a bee in their bonnet' etc and its guff like this which is most likely why.
I don't think you read the original post properly.

Not sure why anyone is expecting some huge announcement with what has happened.
It will come out in the next few days or so that venkys have had another £11m approved by the courts to keep us going for 6 months and everyone on twitter or whatever will respond saying how magnificent they are.
Rinse and repeat for the forseeable.

QPR/Huddersfield this weekend.
Rovers/QPR & Sheff Wed/Huddersfield next weekend.
Worst case scenario is that we're only 3 points clear of the bottom 3 by end of play on Feb 3rd.

Did we get a share of the Raya loan fee last summer? Would be a serious loophole if not
No, because the clause is a "sell" on clause.

Those two goals against Newcastle were nice though!
Plus he wasn't a big money signing in the vain of a Ward or a Blake.
