Presumably because April was pre one of their Indian court hearings, so no cash flow? But then again wasn’t it July we were told all this palava started?

But in the here and now as long as they keep getting the green light every 3 months from the court this ridiculous state of affairs will continue and any winding up petitions etc will be batted away?

    This was my first thought.

We're nowhere near the end game with Venkys if they can continue to do this every 3 months.

Now the court accepted the first one I don't see how or why they will reject further applications.

No sunrise on the horizon folks.

I imagine the Reading owner was sat in the stand.

Remember Rovers fans on the pitch exactly like this, shouting FOX OUT in front of the Nuttall Street Srand.

Of course he was present and there was someone to hurl the frustration at.

Oh if we knew then what we know now.

Whilst our owners are completely absent, there is nowhere to direct such action.

It would have to be a televised game abandoned to create even a ripple of attention with these cun7s.

    Wrexham game is the one.

I really was hoping for a decent season this time around with another play off push. This result really is a kick in the teeth without mentioning the past few games. How long before we start seriously considering managerial changes?

Even if JDT was to go, the next appointment will just have to follow the same brief of "playing the right way" and I just don't see us being any better off.

The days of us employing an Allardyce style organiser to see us through are long gone I'm afraid.

Not sure I agree that you can't replace Gallagher for that kind of money, when you look at some of the top scorers in the league. Morgan Whittaker was around £1m. Jack Clarke reported to be £750k. Crysencio Summerville reported to be around £1.25m. Conor Chaplin around £750k. Our own Sammy Szmodics was £1.8m according to the Peterborough chairman.

Good deals can be done if recruitment is up to scratch. Our current recruitment team's record on strikers is pretty appalling thus far though, so would I trust them to find a decent striker with £1.5m? Probably not. Besides of which, we'd probably see none or barely any of the money anyway, making selling Gallagher a pointless exercise.

The question should have been how do you replace Gallagher with £0?  Because if we get 1.5m for him we won't be seeing any of it.

Might aswell keep him and have an experienced striker on the books, we're in enough trouble as it is on the pitch.

  5. Don't take anything only2garners has to say seriously, same bloke who said to waggott and Co at the FF that we should put match day tickets up by £3 a game instead of charging the old waggott tax of £3 after 12pm on match days that we used to do.

Not like you to try and brush off everything the Club does as acceptable.

As a member of The Trust I’d like Steve Waggott to urgently, on the record, clarify:

    1) The current situation RE the owners legal issues with the Indian Government

    2) When is the latest the owners reasonably expect the issue to be resolved

    3) Confirmation as to whether or not the budget reduction from the owners will be reallocated to the club once the issue is resolved

    4) Whether or not given the restrictions he believes the owners would entertain discussions about the sale of the club

    These will never be answered.
