I had many happy times going to Villa Park, win, lose or draw. Wish I could have been there today. I am bringing my son up to support his home town team. We usually get in a couple of games a season and when we do go he totally loves it. He wants to go all the time but it's a bit difficult living in Spain If the Blues are on TV then I record the game for him to watch the day after when he is home from school. I think that if more parents take an interest then there will be more people there on the day. I was brought up following the Rovers due to my parents and I am doing the same with my son. My daughter has no interest in the game but I still keep trying with her As far as I am concerned the Rovers are doing the right thing in going into schools and interesting the kids. That's where our future is. You will never get all of the people from Blackburn there but if they go into schools and catch the next generation of supporters then things can't be that bad. Cath

Have to agree with most posters about this match, yes we are going to lose. Last time I went to Wham before I moved to sunny climes I got really peed off with their fans. They are the ONLY team in London and they are better than anyone else. Yes they are the best team in London, they are soooo strong, they are proping the rest of the London teams up It doesn't bode well, they are crap, we are on tv, if Pardew loses he is history, I just hope we can buck the trend and do the business. Will be watching in my local Spanish bar and hoping we can reverse the trend about playing Wham. C'mon the Blues, we CAN stuff the claret and blue. Wish I could be there but there are no cheap flights from Spain at the weekend due to half term (we don't have half term over here ) My mother and father will be there, as usual so no doubt I will get a full run down of the game when I ring on Sunday night. I hope it's a good game (can't see it though with Boltons route one football ) and as long as that diving t**t gets his leg broken I will be happy. Wish we had drawn a Spanish team as I would have been able to go. Went to Poland last time we played there, never again. Riot police all over the place for the match and the Polish fans ready to have a go at anyone. Spent 2 nights there and the night before the game it was great. Went round loads of pubs with no trouble at all but walking to the ground on match night Warsaw was awash with police with their fans intent on causing trouble. Can see why the German police were on edge when it was the world cup. Ah well maybe next round for a Spanish team Cath

I watched it in my local bar in Spain. Wish I could have been there, stunning goal by Bentley maybe they will draw a Spanish team in the next round so I can go to the away game. West Ham played Palermo.
