If he had shown the simon garner shirt when he scored then he would have been an absolute legend. Still think he is there or there abouts. Us lads from Great Harwood stick up for our own! Just a bit of trivia here....my dad had the shirt "there's only one simon garner" made for him ready for when he scored against the dingles....unfortunately the rovers board got wind of the story and told him not to do it.

I've watched Matty play for quite a while now....he used to bang goals in for fun at great harwood town. His raw pace is a threat and looked very sharp when he came on today!! Good lad Matty!!
