I've been to 4 games at Ewood this season, I think the atmos has been pretty good, not miles better than last season or anything, but just good. Anyway, I'm writing this because today on Five Live Sports Xtra the commentator, not sure who, completely slated our support "Rovers fans are a pretty sedate lot at the best of times, but they are very quiet today'.....obviously I wasn't there today, but Ive been to enough footie down the years to know that we aren't any quieter than your average club....so why do we get comments like that? Beggers belief sometimes!!

in theory, and only in theory mind, the idea of a mini 'home nations tournament' sounds pretty interesting.

Smashing stuff WB, you keep pulling little gems out of the bag....as well as Rovers memories.....it was nice to see, if I'm not mistaken, Tont Daley bombing down the villa wing, he was an exciting player.

I remember seeing the starting eleven and thinking ooooh hughes in midfield....this should be fun.

My first away game was Villa '92, we were top going into the game, 0-0 in the end. All i remember is the guy on the PA anoucing that it was a clash featuring two fo the games best centre forwards: Shearer and Saunders...I think the away end laughed a bit at that...we all knew!!!! And the sumo wrestlers at half time.....CLASSY

I think they had the design of the current badge done before '89, but yeah, that was the year they started using it on the kits.

i watched the season video from 02/03 the other night, and while i also remember being frustrated with yorke....id forgotten some of the nice play he contributed that season...his best as a rover.

hello..........im in the early stages of putting together an updated mike jackman style rovers book.....also doing a creative writing course at ruskin college oxford......so what im looking for is programmes from the last home games of the seasons from 90/91 onwards................any help would be much appreciated.

89/90......i have the shirt...but it only just fits my teddy bear....... am willing to swap my 94/95 adult medium away shirt (9 shearer, original club shop print in good conditon) for the 89/90 home shirt, adult size.....or ill buy it off you........anybody interested or got one or know of someone with one!!!!

i was some where down south with my dad, visiting his girlfriend at that time.....we listened to it on the radio...she was out i seem to recall.....taped the five live commentary onto tape and used to listen back to it at night to drift off to sleep....(i was only 13!!!).....but yeah what a memory........i just remember my dad with the biggest smile on his face i think i ever saw..... also does anyone know where to get old match reports from?????
