It’ll be at least £45 for a Sky dinner time game, lowest following there ever at a weekend?

I agree with your prediction if the court case gets sorted but I'm not so sure it's that simple.
There can be no money provided until August. Another postponement or more problems uncovered by the investigation in the meantime then surely their situation becomes untenable and they can't pay the bills even if they are willing to do so. At that point maybe 'the authorities' can step in ?
I’m in fatalism mode these days, I just can’t ever picture a time where that lot have fucked off.

Im not sure you are particularly positive yourself hence celebrating draws at home v fellow strugglers!
Indeed, very negative behaviour (typical of Blackburners though, to be fair)

Course not, not a chance the ‘authorities’ will get involved with this lot.
The court case will soon be forgotten and the bills will be paid, but no further ambition than that for the club, for another decade as we slip down the leagues.

As always joining the dots as to why there’s ’only 11,000-12,000’ seems to be beyond them.

They are definitely spooked as I don’t ever remember ‘statements’ mid season before from this lot and we’ve had about three on that snazzy blue background already… a few chants aimed at those that like to stay in their submarines is obviously all it takes (doesn’t mean they’ll actually feck off this side of the century though).

If anyone knows of any bookies who are willing to offer 100/1 for us to just avoid defeat, if you could send me an IM.

Ipswich would beat us 99 times out of a hundred at Ewood?
Get out of it.

End of the day if you’ve had enough, don’t go. It’s your money, your time, your stress levels, your morals.
But even if we ended up at Oyston level crowds, this lot still wouldn’t give a flying fuck.

As always a load of pissing about.
Just make either Cov or Sheff Wed a tenner and get a big crowd in for what could be an absolute pivotal game for this football club (well, we will see it as pivotal, not sure ‘the club’ is arsed either way).

Beginning to?

Of course some games are easier. It’s not a handicap system.
-
I certainly wouldn’t have expected JDT to have won many of these ‘easier games’, we all know that the wheels had come off for him.
However, the ‘new manager bounce’ is also often a factor too. Especially in such an evenly matched league and a fair few winnable games to go at. End of the day he’s won zero of them.

Broughton does get cut a bit of slack on here, but name me a single person that gives Swag a ‘free ride?’
-
If we’d have been 2-0 down against Stoke he’d have been nowhere to be seen on the touch line… oh and even if he had the Chadster certainly wouldn’t have been saying that was his defeat.

Unfortunately Venky’s do matter as they own the club, our enormous decline over 13 years shows just how much they matter.

Misses the run in due to an injury in a pointless friendly in late March sounds about right.

Our crowds have totally missed the boom that has occurred across England this past decade (highest league crowds since the 1950s) - for obvious reasons.
However, as always, the authorities will kill the golden goose. We’ve seen it already with the collapse in midweek away followings (and crowds generally though masked as ST holders still get counted in figures) since the red button, and next season will see *five* live Championship games every weekend, including *every* opening game, last game and bank holidays.
The high watermark for EFL football has probably now been hit… we were just ahead of the curve, nice one Venky’s!

I would love to buy you a pint if that happens, make it a keg.

I’ll make a prediction… Venky’s will own us in a year.

English is the world lingua franca, I doubt Americans, Australians, New Zealanders are much better.
If the USA spoke French, so films, music, popular culture, people working in bars, restaurants abroad all spoke French too, I’d wager French would be much wider spoken by Brits.

No demand for housing in the Ribble Valley?!
I think any resident of Whalley, Langho, Clitheroe will certainly disagree with that notion, indeed just drive into those areas to see the vast amounts of housing springing up…

Cause and effect seem to totally elude these people.
’We can’t compete at this level, and that’s nothing to do with Venky’s’
’We have crap gates and that’s nothing to do with Venky’s’
’We are skint and that’s nothing to do with Venky’s’.
’We are a small club and…’ … think you see where I’m going with this.

I wear blue and white specs, that’s why I only want the best for the club.
These other people parroting whatever latest guff comes out of Swag, blindly accepting the decline of this club under these owners are actually wearing claret and blue specs from where I’m standing.

Fans Forum / Roverstore

This is the problem when the FF are the last remaining ‘fan consultation’ group.
This is a forum that was set up in those lovely olden days where asking John Williams to try a new pie supplier was as hard hitting as was needed.
The club cannily used Covid as an excuse to quietly drop the more forensic mandated bi-annual fan consultation meetings.
If only as much effort was put in at that place re actually improving it over trying to pull a fast one.
