Branthwaite was 18, a tough gig being thrown in the Championship. Always every chance he would improve.

Yep, the away support is excellent these days.
Apart from places that are a right arse to get to like south Wales, we as standard will take c1k minimum everywhere (and obviously plenty more often) for an afternoon game.

To be fair it’s a standard thing at most (normal) clubs. You will often see legends in club blazers in hospitality, at events etc. It’s a nod to a proper heritage. Gives the club gravitas, continuity through generations.
However, here everything is done half arsed, so I’ll believe it when I see it, especially with someone that lives a long distance away. File with ‘we are looking into it’ example #764

Who disagrees what the fans should get behind the side? And they do, good fans here regardless of what a lot of fools on social media/the LT comments say.
-
A lot of the fanbase however don’t have any other Rovers thoughts apart from match day so it will go down a treat with plenty.

Good for you.
That's officially known as a waggotesque mindset I believe
Unfortunately not, as I didnt put anything on… hopefully I’ll spot it next time though.

So like I said a sin against fandom. The ‘principle’ sin.
Yeah still think I’d take the 2k if it’s all the same.

Staying in games and grinding out wins isn’t lucky. We won plenty like that in ‘95.
Hallmark of a team with character.

Does make me laugh, proper pearl clutching.

If it’s value, then why not. Nothing shameful about it, whole point of betting (or any stock/currency market) is finding value.
I certainly should’ve backed us to go down when we were 20+/1, huge value.

You reckon? Away from brfcs can’t say I’ve heard much of that.
Indeed, certainly at Ewood he seems to be getting cut a fair bit of slack by a load who never warmed to JDT in the first place.

I made an exception for JDT as I found him extremely articulate and charismatic, him aside I’ve hardly listened to a manager (or player) since Ke*n - platitudes and cliches on repeat, no thanks.

Remember when ‘Lawro’ used to predict the results on the BBC website, somebody crunched the numbers and Liverpool would win the league every season by about 30 points if they had come true… defo the same with the Chadster’s predictions on here 😅

I don’t blame anybody for knocking it on the head, indeed I imagine a good few more will do just that this summer when it comes to ST renewals.
Your time, your money, your sanity, your morals.
However, if we ended up with just the Chadster in the ground, they still wouldn’t give a shiny shite, indeed Swag I imagine would close the stands and sack the cleaners with relish (and still ‘hit his targets’)
This is just not a normal club with normal owners that react to things like a collapsing customer base.
We are fecked from where I’m standing.

Boycotts can and do work… they just don’t work here as the collapse in crowds have shown - they couldn’t give a monkeys.

Not far off 20,000 ST holders as they bought the club.
6,000 next season?
That’s your protest and it would have alarm bells clanging everywhere else (not here though, obviously).
-
Quite right too!
-
That reminds me, wasn’t there supposed to be another fan takeover day before the end of the season?
-
It’s always tough for managers going into a club mid season as by default it’s usually because the team is struggling. Certainly no easy task to turn it all round, so I do emphasise with the job he has…
However, many, many managers still get a new bounce at struggling clubs - he hasn’t and there no getting away that results have been poor thus far.

A landslide on brfcs maybe, I’d imagine it’d be closer to a 52/48 situation in the wider fanbase.

I just read from you that if they could get through the court case so back to funding it as previously and appoint execs more to your liking etc then my interpretation of your post was that you’d be willing for them to stay.
If that is incorrect and regardless of legalities and appointments you’ve unequivocally had enough and they have to go whatever, then great, totally with you.
-
So against all evidence of a sorry 14 years, as I suspected you still hold out hope for these owners.
Face it Rev, you’ll never really get to ‘Enough’.

Most ‘stick’ he’s got is due to him not winning a game until Monday.
Obviously most of said stick will soon dissipate if he wins a couple more this month, as though they aren’t a priority for the club itself, for most fans it’s a results business.
