  1. The Aussies have been very sloppy so far in this test, dropped catches, poor shot slection and that last review would probably have seen Stokes given out. We MUST win this one, I can't see them being this sloppy again.
  2. Cook had no need to play at that, wide ball, silly shot.
  3. Come back in 10hrs time when people are awake, it's not rocket science
  4. Nick Cave and the bad seeds - Do you love me
  5. Always good to see Warner get out, great catch by Cook.
  6. The Aussies catching was laughable, Root could and should have gone early, that would have been a disaster. Good to see Ben Stokes attacking from the off, aggressive and going after the Aussies. Today was definitely Englands, they need to get up to 400 and this has draw written all over it.
  7. Me and the Farmer - The Housemartins
  8. Bad shot selection more like, although a few balls have kept low. We look scared, its like men against boys, the Aussies are bouncing around snarling and we just look scared to death. Need a partnership or we'll be out for under 200 here.
  9. Don't waste your money Tomphil, Fury will get nowhere near Klitschko, shouldn't be in the same ring. But if you do go I hope Klitschko knocks him out, bit like Khan and Barrera, I never wanted a fighter to win more than Barrera that night, simply because Barrera is a legend and Khan didn’t deserve to be in the same ring as him. Sadly Marco was over the hill, but I'll never forget the Boo's when Khan did his ring walk, this despite Frank Warren playing cheering and clapping over the loud speakers.
  10. Tyson Fury has somehow managed to get himself a fight with Klitschko in October, says more about the division that someone of his limited ability gets into the ring with a champion of limited ability in a division void of any real talent. Ok so I'm being a bit harsh on Klitschko, you have to give the guy respect, he's unbeaten in over 12yrs so he's no mug, but he’s dominated a division void of talent and has gone about it in a very sterile way, turning millions of boxing fans off in the process. As for Fury, well to be honest I think Abbey would beat him! He’s also an idiot, Fury not Abbey, some of his twitter rants show him to be a classless idiot and I hope Kilitschko does him in 1 round to puts this idiot out to pasture.
  11. little by little - Oasis
  12. It is a lovely spot no doubt about that. I'd say The Inn at Whitewell is on a par, but you're right not many more in terms of views and beer garden.
  13. I'm more worried at Mitchell Johnson to be honest Jim, yes its a bonus Harris isn't playing, but Johnson is the danger man for me.
  14. Bob Dylan - Forever Young
  15. I think you can add David Warner to the list Matty, but the quicks are the worry I agree. Our batting hasn't been the best, we've usually relied heavily on Root, the rest have been hit and miss, so if the Aussies work out Root we could be in trouble.
  16. Shirley Bassey - Diamonds are forever
  17. Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline
  18. Yes me to Al. I think everyones getting a little carried away with the NZ series, yes it was great to watch but could have gone either way and NZ are no Australia. All that said I'm really looking forward to it
  19. They said the same about Eric Cantona, George Best, Craig Bellamy........ You play your best players gumboots, simple as that. Its history now anyway, lets hope we make a good fist of it without KP.
  20. Elbow - Neat Little Rows
  21. Tutti Frutti - Little Richard
  22. Scarlet Town - Bob Dylan
  23. Glad you enjoyed it CLB, it was poor last time we went about 6 months ago. The menu was great, the pub and setting even better but when the food arrived it was really poor, very disappointed, bland and just not what we expected from such an inventive menu. But glad you enjoyed it, may give it another go at some stage.
  24. Fantastic win for Lancs, tremendous batting display.
  25. Apologies for Astbury Park.Bruce Springsteen - Man at the top
