  1. You can claim for anything the bank or credit card company has charged you for because the charges have been deemed unlawful in court earlier in the year. So if you paid your credit card late and got charged say £20, you can claim that back because its not a true reflection of what it actually cost the credit card company. If you went over your overdraft and were charged, claim it back. Basically any charges that you have incurred claim them back because they've been deemed unlawful. YOU MUST REGISTER WITH THE SITE FIRST, then follow these steps and you'll have all your fees back in no time: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum...structions.html
  2. I don't wish to enter into a debate on the banking system thank you. I've posted this as information to assist others who like me feel that bank charges levied on our accounts are not reflective of the actual cost incurred by the banks and because other maybe broke also!
  3. The reason for being charged is completely irrelevant, but what is clear is that finally the banks are being held accountable for making ludicrous charges for going 1p over drawn. If I go over drawn by a penny they charge me £39, well not anymore…. I’m personally aware of 12 people who have had their claims paid in full and none were ‘High profile cases’. Six claimed over £1000 and one person claimed £3400. I doubt the other poster on this thread was a 'high profile case' either. May I suggest you look into things a little more carefully before saying its 'Utter nonsense' and 'complete twaddle'.
  4. May I suggest you take a look at the website I’ve added and you'll find that not 1 person has so far failed to get a full refund Modi. The Halifax alone has paid out over 350k to 303 people who have filled in the survey on the site. I've got £302 to claim and have been offered £150, I’ve turned that down and have now started court proceedings and I guarantee I’ll be paid out in full in the next 4wks. Debs has claimed back almost 2k and is waiting for their first offer. My mate has been paid out, £1900 on 2 accounts so don't tell me its a load of twaddle.
  5. I'm sure some of you will be aware that a case was won some months back that has thrown the whole bank charge regime in to chaos and thousands of people have successfully claimed these charges back. The reason you can claim them back is because its been classed as unlawful in terms of the amount the bank/Credit card company charges you for going over drawn of writing to you to inform you your cc payments is late etc etc. Not one person has failed in getting their money back so far but eventually the banks/cc companies will have to fight this so get your arses into gear or you may miss out. You can claim for the last 6yrs and the following website has letter templates and numerous case studies and tips to help you along your way. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/
  6. Gav's booze bus will be making a few trips next season, wonder where we'll be going early doors? London trips are best done by train but we'll maybe stretch to Reading as its a new venue. PS, No half pints from Chorley who throw up in the mini bus this season either........
  7. We could bid for Duff, Eidur and John Terry, yet we'd still not sell more season tickets.
  8. An archive section should be created with that sort of report taking pride of place. You can't find much about our past on the net be it football or fans. Paper clippings and any old footage is fascinating to me and I’m sure many more. Lets start an archive section with the train report taking pride of place?
  9. A few lads i know were on that train and got a tidy sum in compensation i believe.
  10. You better start saving because I'm not bloody paying this time
  11. There were 5 German bombers in the air............. There were 5 German bombers in the air............. There were 5 German bombers, 5 German bombers, 5 German bombers in the air......... But the RAF from Blackburn shot them down......... Oh the RAF from Blackburn shot them down Oh the RAF from Blackburn RAF from Blackburn RAF from Blackburn shot them down............... What a result, UEFA Cup qualification and we're over the moon. Lets pin this thread and talk about where we won't to go and how we'll get there. Debs fancies Minsk; I fancy an easy trip to Portugal or Spain in the early rounds then Eastern Europe in the league format. Tris fancies a kebab....... SO HAPPY
  12. I've won so f**k it We're all going on a european tour
  13. Can I again say a big thank you to Cletus for the way in which he's kept the interest going in this thread all season. My Bolton supporting colleague, who I made the wager with, is telling me that I’ve nothing to gloat about because only just beating Wigans average attendance is nothing to write home about. I pointed out to her that if I’d have taken the alternative wager of us finishing higher than Bolton I’d have won that also. Doubt she'll pay up but I’ll keep you posted.
  14. I hear they may be going to Thailand to play in the tournement City and Bolton played in last year. It goes on league position and has a top prize of 1million pounds for the winner.
  15. Told him to stop moaning, but not in a confrontational manner, he remonstrated with me about the form and I said just fill it like everyone else. Whilst I was being served he went to the next window and started having a go at the woman, he looked at me and said, "I'm doing it again aren’t I" i just laughed. Many people wouldn't say a word and plenty were in agreement with him but you have to challenge some people and he was one because he's ranting loudly about such a trivial matter.
  16. Bought my seven year old his first season ticket this morning, £90 is great value and he'll be going for many years to come. I was stood in the queue and one bloke was going mad about having to fill in a form: "Why do I need to fill in a bloody form when I’ve been a season ticket holder for the past 8yrs" MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN...........just fill the form in like everyone else you moaning ****
  17. Great result against a very poor Charlton side and all credit to the fans who made the trip, looked a good following for a live game. Just a couple of observations: Lucas Neill in the first half was yet again caught marking space instead of the player, when will he learn? That shot either side of Brad and we could have been 1-0 down. Mort Ped yet again was awful for me; ok his throw lead to the goal but his overall contribution was terrible. I agree he's only young but he's going to have to improve considerably to cement his place in the team. Steven Reid must be the most improved player in blue and white, every game he looks better and better, we'll struggle to keep hold of him at this rate. Great day indeed, Rovers 3 points and brum going down
  18. AndyC The birmingham muppets have finally sunk the ship, a win for us will just cap a wonderful day. Big club my arse.
  19. Clapping him out on to the pitch B****x to that get on with it we need a win.
  20. If anyone hears of England tickets going from a reliable source please let me know. Didn't really bother this time because of family holidays but thats changed so i'm now desperate for tickets. No chance i know, but if you don't ask....... Tris, why not give me your ticket, thats what friends are for
  21. Don't make me laugh, after he refused to take his place on the bench under Souness he should never have been allowed to pull on the blue and white shirt again.
  22. He wasn't exactly setting the Premiership alight earlier in the season but he was scoring goals, which made up for his poor performances. Once the goals dried up he's been exposed as just an average player who can't beat a man, has no pace but does posses a good left foot. If Spurs or anyone else offer anything remotely like 5million we should cash in and laugh all the way to the bank.
