  1. A victory today should help shift a few more, if we can't sell 5000 for a game 20 minutes away on a bank holiday we should pack it all in.
  2. Being rather cautious on such a subject in the past, (Celtic and bumley away ), I’m going out on a limb and saying we'll DEFINATLY sell out for this one. Everyone I know is going and I couldn't even say that for either of the games mentioned above, in fact I couldn't even say that for the semi final last season. Get your tickets early of be disappointed chaps.
  3. Everyone is asked on Saturday was going and I expect this to sell out with some people being disappointed.
  4. Savage has done nothing since he moved here from birmingham. You've got to give the manager some credit for dropping the guy as Hughes went out on a limb to sign him. Long hair and energy doesn't win football games, "I want to like you Robbie but you've got a long way to go son to impress me."
  5. Right me and Debs are not going to Wigan away, every paying customer counts
  6. Can't believe the over reaction on here tonight? We were by far the better side over 90 minutes today and played most of the game with 10 men! Terrible decision by the linesman cost us dear today, it was a yellow card at best but mistakes happen, onwards and upwards. Speaking to a few lads today, I was saying for the first time in 3-4 seasons I was going to today’s game actually believing we'd win and that’s not a luxury I’ve had in recent times. Hughes has done a fantastic job in the last 18 months, just back the guy we're on the right track.
  7. PS, GiddyGoat has caused a few fires in his time and he assured the safety officer that we were not causing a fire hazard despite the Carlsberg being rather warm.
  8. Why not stay in the bar with us and drink warm cans of Carlsberg at £2.60 a shot The only reason we went back to our seats: The safety officer told us to drink up as we were causing a fire hazard?
  9. I can still see Jim Branigan standing on the ball and Strachan placing it top corner..... Southampton year before, Garners shot went in..........didn't it?........
  10. Both Newcastle and Everton have failed to sell out at the Breeze Block this season and with our game being shown live on Sky i'd doubt we'd sell out either.
  11. Not a very inspiring performance but 2 great goals. The crowd........16,953 now thats a disgrace and very very worrying indeed. Our club needs the Blackburn public to support it, sadly many just have given up the ghost........
  12. mms://video.premiumtv.co.uk/newcastle/geordie_dancer_hi.wmv Is this you paddyk?
  13. OOoops Are you that retarded Geordie dancer by any chance?
  14. Did you see Stead for the under 21's the other night? He was awful and missed chance after chance, no thanks good riddance.
  15. I see Emre has been ruled out of action for 6 weeks with a hamstring tear
  16. I think you'll find many supporters from lower division teams visiting the JJB this season just to watch premiership football at Championship prices which has me a little worried.
  17. I wonder if this is something that the ISA could try to get involved in when things are up and running. It's not a big thing in the grand scheme but could be an ideal project to launch and get the ISA noticed? Obviously support for change would need to gaged but could be of interest, or am i barking up the wrong tree as to what the ISA is about? Just a thought.
  18. The quality of music played on a match day has always been extremely poor and I feel something needs to be done to change this trend. The opening music that the team comes out to is embarrassing and with numerous decent tunes around why can't we be a little more cutting edge in this regard? I know GiddyGoat feels like me we should be coming out to something along the lines of "I predict a riot" by the Kaiser Chiefs, what an uplifting, up to date track that would certainly get some of the younger fans up for the job in hand and create a decent atmosphere from the off. I've mentioned before about Leeds coming out to "Born Slippy" from trainspotting and although they've never struggled with creating an atmosphere at Elland Rod it helped to get it going. Won't hold me breath but I think it’s a must to get the atmosphere going from the outset.
  19. I think that'll be a good indicator as to how many they'll get against the big boys over the season. Anything under 20k and its money in the bank......
  20. They'll have had thousands out there you can bet on that......
