  1. I'd replace the manager now if at all possible, even though I know full well it won't make the slightest bit of difference, but the rest of your post is absolutely spot on. The side is probably mid table with Rhodes involved, without him we're mid/bottom and thats because of the owners getting rid of everyone that knows anything about football and replacing them with cheap, poor replacements, same on the playing side. This cycle will sadly continue until they leave the club.
  2. Good start by the Aussies, doubt we'll see Morgan again today so 27-4
  3. Big Country - Look away
  4. Bob Dylan - Girl from the North Country
  5. Groves just doesn't set the pulse racing like Froch did, can't even be bothered staying up for any of tonight's fights and I'm a massive boxing fan. Thought we'd never see anyone take Ricky Hattons mantle, but Froch stepped up, but I have no idea where the next peoples champion is coming from.
  6. My bloody valentine - Don't cramp my style
  7. Kris Kristofferson - Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down
  8. Good chase that by England, Aussies look tired, poor again in the field. 3rd highest run chase by an England team ever. Sets up Sunday nicely, sadly can't make it so TV it is.
  9. Sunday Morning - Velvet Underground
  10. Borders - The Sunshine Underground
  11. Beg, Steal or Borrow - New Seekers
  12. Brilliant day today and good performance by England, although I felt the Aussies looked well off the pace in the field. You realise when you go to games like today exactly what you're missing as a Rovers fan. Brilliant atmosphere, players that care about the shirt and give %110, fans that actually give a toss, educated and objective, it was just an all round good day. We want our walrus back, Hales you're a hero!
  13. There's A Ghost In My House - R. Dean Taylor
  14. Was a long job, took until day 4 to get last Saturdays beer out of the system! Good effort Lancs.
  15. The reason I'm not bothering is because I'm not willing to enter into an Allardyce debate, pointless exercise. What I or anyone else thought of him was irrelevant, we influenced nothing, so you or anyone else who 'Told and better told' (what exactly?) me was simply wasting oxygen, I didn't sack him, I didn't stab him in the back and I didn't bring **** into the club either. Having read through some of the thread from back then I was pretty balanced as always Thats called balance Jim. I was happy he'd been sacked, but I couldn't understand why, nobody could.
  16. Just been taken over I think, saw an article in the Telegraph a few weeks back. Glad it was good.
  17. Take a trip to The Royal Oak Riley Green Mercer, top quality pub grub and great beer. Beers a bit pricey, but food great and very reasonable.
  18. That looks great Paul, I'll have a listen later.
  19. Off to Old Trafford next week to watch the ODI against the Aussies, I'd much rather have seen a test match but seems we're being priced out of those for the time being
  20. Courteeners tickets for Apollo in December, always a great venue.
  21. Congratulations Lancs, great win.
  22. Once in 2 1/2 yrs Not a bad record really is it WYR
  23. Bowyer doesn't lose 3 games on the bounce, that could keep us up.Appointing a less experienced, cheap alternative would be worse if he can't get to grip with things quickly and start winning games with this poor squad we've assembled. With less experience he's going to struggle.
  24. Absolutely As for Rotherham, they gave a footballing lesson away last season, so I'm not sure they're worse than us either. Regardless, its going to be a long hard season.
  25. My favourite Brum pub is The old joint stock on Temple Row, up the hill from New Street, won't have footy on though. But you'll not struggle for great places to eat and drink, with footy on everywhere.
