Surely Hilton isn't ready given his lack of first team football or regular football over a number of season but people are serious thinking of playing him? Wahlstedt has made a number of good quality saves but has made a few mistakes. He is learning about the Championship and I think will turn out to be a good signing overall.

Hyam, Brittain and Szmodics were all scouted by Rovers recruitment department during Mowbray's last season. How was the Mowbray's targets given he was leaving that summer and when he did leave we have no recruitment department left staff wise? I think GB has done very well recruitment wise and is doing a good job. Look at Hirst at Ipswich now, looks a very different player to the one we had here. Why didn't it work here? I think this summer recruitment has been mixed with Tronstad, Moran, Hill and Sigurdsson been goodish to very good signings, Telalovic and Ennis yet to seen enough to form an opinion. Kaminski was sold cos a PL club wanted him who could pay bigger wages and offer him what he want PL football. On Wahlstedt, we scouted him for months and he was our first choice to replace Kaminski. Also far too many people are writing him off already.

I would like us to Liam Cullen(Swansea), a full back in Jordan Williams from Barnsley and a striker permanently or on loan. Football has moved on from then when it's about movement, skills, passing the ball to feet and playing good football now. I'm quite baffled by people complaining about our style of players when it's suits our attacking players like Szmodics and Wharton. You surely build a team around those 2? It was pathetic performance and result yesterday. Not good enough. Pleased JDT called it out and I expect a better result and performance at Hull on Friday night. JDT and GB aren't the problem but the budget cuts we had put into place during the summer we have moved for different targets then originally planned by GB and JDT at the start of the summer. I still backing JDT and he is the right man to achieve what we want but needs the budget/signings to achieve this. He will get at least top half finish whilst considering we have one of the lowest budget in the league is a good end result. I still want playoffs but we need 3 or 4 quality signings in January and players back fit also. Which staff members are these?
