  1. Venkys should have sack him last season in my opinion. Why they didn't only they know. But not forget that Mowbray is the CURRENT MAIN PROBLEM and Mowbray should have us promote or at least top 6 by now. He has been massive financially backed by the owners. He can't have any complaints about that or you. So here a simple question for you, do you agree or disagree that Mowbray has been financially backed by them and should have us top 6/promote? Also why is promotion an overachieve? I hope you are correct for once Mercer
  2. I don't think he is bad or poor manager but Rovers as a club need a new manager approach who has a different tactical approach and fresh ideas, plus a new coaching staff and can have the players who can adapt to a couple of different formations easily
  3. I think Newcastle owners and management totally misjudged the situation by thinking money could get them a top manager. Not sure Howe is the right manager for this situation But I am very surprised how slow they have been in appointing a CEO, Sporting Director and head coach
  4. Wait a second tho Rigger, I don't criticise Mowbray every single day tho. but after witness that shambolic performance last night and stay until the end of the game, I am very angry and annoyed at his lack of apology from himself and the players. Or even the club making a statement this morning to apology to every single Rovers supporter who attend last night game, quickly followed by a Mowbray sacking statement. I have throughout his reign criticise his signings like the failure to bring in a quality centre back in our first season back in the championship after promotion.
  5. I wouldn't criticise any supporter for voicing the opinion whether their view is Mowbray should be sack or Mowbray should stay Every supporter has their view
  6. For me its was only Brereton and Travis who continue to fight and show some pride.
  7. Mowbray IS the current problem and has been for months. He hasn't be sacked cos in my opinion cos he has been up a trusted relationship with them and thats why. He has been financially backed for the past 3 seasons before this one. He has over 16 million pounds in transfers fees, plus loan fees for players like Reed, Elliott and Tosin. Then the wage bill he has been allowed to run with each season like having a wage bill at 189% compare to turnover. Then he moans about his lack of budget this summer but any normal footballing manager would have known that his budget this summer would be smaller and he can't moan or complain cos he has been more than backed by the club and owners. I don't see promotion or even top 6 has over achieving at all given the budget he has had and time to build a squad. So why hasn't he build a top 6 squad? cos his transfers haven't improve the squad and his tactical approach isn't working anymore.
  8. Very much looks that way.
  9. Mowbray is the current problem. He has been backed to the hilt by the owners in terms of transfer fees, loan fees and wages.. And he still employed these crap tactics like last night. He cost us the game before it started. No more excuses for him. His post match comments was pathetic and I still angry that the manager hasn't apologise or resigned after last night pathetic performance
  10. It was 4-3-2 with Brereton and Dolan up front but staying wide ish. Mowbray should have took Johnson off for Carter not Buckley. But Mowbray got it completely wrong tactical from the start. Buckley isn't a false 9.
  11. Howe in talks with Newcastle about their vacant head coach job
  12. Can't believe Mowbray stabd hasn't and didn't apologise to fans for the result and the performance post match
  13. The owners need to sack Mowbray, Venus and Lowe today. Appoint Damien Johnson as caretaker manager for Sheffield United game. Then speak to 3 or 4 managers and then pick your preferred choice. I see 3 good candidates for the job if we had a vacancy who are Gareth Ainsworth, Chris Wilder and Alex Neil.
  14. Nope. But of course I'm in position to criticise given that I am passionate Rovers fan who had been season ticket holder for over 20 years now Play Brereton up front for one.
  15. No chance are any them coming here in a month of Sundays. These 3 people along with Wilder should be any shortlist for Rovers.
  16. What a shambles and dreadful performance that was. I stayed until the final whistle. Few Mowbray out chants. Very angry at that performance that started with manager's team selection. Mowbray had to go!!
  17. Newcastle will go foriegn head coach I suspect. But the owners there thought money would be enough to bring a high profile head coach.
  18. Would expect it 4-3-3 with Dolan left, Brereton centre and Buckley right in front 3
  19. They want a head coach not a manager. Probably why Dyche isn't a target. But it's crucial their sporting director and head coach have same thinking and understanding on transfers matters. Newcastle need signings and quickly in January like centre defender, centre midfielder and striker.
  20. We see how they turned up. They were awful at Blackpool away and didn't turn up there. Also been beaten by Reading and Coventry. BTW it has been raining today tho.
  21. Newcastle need a manager now and quick. Their owners seem to think they could get Emery there and he seems to be interest in the job. No chance of Conte or Xavi going there. So even if they tried for then they have wasted time there. They have money and plenty of it but they don't understand that in football they need proper experience and knowhow I had ver surprised how slow they have been in appointing a new CEO, Sporting Director and Head Coach. It appears that Howe or Fonseca are the 2 options for the head coach job. Not sure they are the right options for them. But they need an experience football manager/head coach. Maybe someone like Mark Hughes or Rudi Garcia. But they need a transfer plan for January and appointing CEO and Sporting Director is crucial.
  22. I agree. Cardiff have no money to spend and more cutbacks next season plus having to bring through youth
