  1. Have you seen what's been going on India with the coronavirus and medical impact over there in past month or so? Here is some articles on the coronavirus problems in India and Pune https://www.freepressjournal.in/mumbai/coronavirus-in-pune-covid-19-centres-private-hospitals-helplines-and-other-important-information-issued-by-pmc https://www.financialexpress.com/lifestyle/health/maharashtra-mumbai-coronavirus-lockdown-news-live-section-144-pune-thane-covid-19-tracker/2009943/ Yes people like me but how many would? Do a poll and see? Would you? Yes of course I would Mowbray to know his budget but I can also understand that our Indian owners have other things on their minds currently like major health crisis in their country.
  2. Forest vs Fulham should be a good game. Plus Luton and Barnsley play each other at 6pm tonight
  3. Yes you are right that some people wont be interested cos of the job or financial situation for examples. I know a couple of Rovers fans who have lost their jobs in the past couple of weeks. Yes you will people me and others who will buy them. Others wont. Cos of their situation.
  4. I dont disagree but is buying a season ticket at the front of people's mind with people losing their jobs in the local area or people on furlough or no date when we can return to stadiums to watch live football. Not everyone is like me who would buy a season ticket without a return date. Maybe have a brfcs poll on the matter
  5. You CAN'T currently travel to India due to the travel restrictions and coronavirus over there.
  6. Point is? Still plenty of support out there whether it facebook and Twitter groups for Mowbray. Anyway I not going to keep going this every day. I have posted my views on Mowbray and it ain't change.
  7. But I have Stuart. I have answered Sparks and Mercer(twice) questions about my view on Mowbray and me backing him. My view hasn't change since yesterday answer to Sparks or to Mercer last week
  8. Yes Boro are a good case but it's what their owner want to bring in young players more and more. And spend less on wages and fees over a period of time. He did the same thing when Strachan spend millions after millions and didnt get promote. Then he cut the budget under Mowbray. Their owner appointed Woodgate and I was told he was getting the job before the end of last season.
  9. That's why you would asked that question in the interview stage about his opinions on young players and youth setup. Rovers and other clubs will be looking to bring through youth players more and more. Rovers have some good talent young players coming through and hopefully we see them in the 1st team in the coming years.
  10. Wigan Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan is leading a bid to buy Wigan Athletic. https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/football/exclusive-wigan-warriors-led-bid-buy-wigan-athletic-2906124 4 or 5 serious offers for Wigan https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12023009/four-or-five-serious-offers-for-wigan
  11. Look like Dunn will become Barrow manager and Rob Kelly his number 2 shortly from reports
  12. They have a head of football operations. From reading the link I posted yesterday sounds like they want a head coach. Not a manager who looks after all aspects of the football operations.
  13. Haven't we been over this Stuart before? Why don't you accept that other posters have a different view of Mowbray and the job he has done then yourself. Are you going to accept it? Do you mean agents? If so, Gallagher's agent is crown football and Brereton's agent is Wasserman Here is a list of Rovers player's agent https://www.transfermarkt.com.hr/blackburn-rovers/berateruebersicht/verein/164
  14. Mowbray on budget. Wont be going to India https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18565168.learning-budget-venkys-high-agenda-rovers-boss/
  15. Like article says they want someone who will develop their young players. Plus players who have 1 year left on the contract likely to be sold. They dont want old school manager who gets involve in everything. Guess that's their owner choice. We see how successful it is
  16. Local paper in Bristol is reporting that this is criteria for next head coach at Bristol City. Including developing their young players like Max O'Leary, Taylor Moore and Liam Walsh. City are placing emphasis on the desire to appoint a hands-on coach who focus their work on the technical day-to-day aspects at Failand and on matchday, and not an old-style manager who has influence in other departments. Could look to appoint overseas manager. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/chris-hughton-interested-bristol-city-4299689 If Bristol City follow through with the above proposals then would McCarthy and Hughton be interest in a head coach role?
  17. We see by end of the October wont we
  18. All depends what is going on over in Pune regarding the coronavirus. We dont know what going on over there. They will be focusing more of their time on the core businesses and their share price which has taken a major hit since this coronavirus started. https://www.google.com/search?q=venkys+share+price&rlz=1C1RUCY_enGB745GB745&oq=venkys+share+&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l6.8490j1j8&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Maybe they told Mowbray and Waggott that discussions will happened at the end of the season when finial position and points is know. I don't know. Lets see what they reported from Lancs Live and LT articles tomorrow They still taking an interest in Rovers and their holding company otherwise they would put more money into Venkys London Limited on 2nd June https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/07406020/filing-history
  19. like I said asked me at the end of the season about whether the season has been progression or not when we know the final league position and points total. Rothwell hasnt performed this season as much as I would expected but his confidence hasnt been there all season. There is a player there I feel he need to play the rest of season and get his form and confidence back.
  20. my opinion hasnt change since the last time I was asked by mercer yesterday. https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/forums/topic/34120-tony-mowbray-discussion/&do=findComment&comment=2075244 Yes I asked both Rich Sharpe and Jaquob Crooke could they asked about next season budget and will he be looking to use our new overseas scouting network for signings. I would the budget to be sorted as soon as possible but with the problems with coronavirus in India I would imagine we aren't their top priority at this stage.
  21. We have played the 4-3-3 formation in the odd game before this. Like in away games at Sheff Utd and Reading. But you are right that some of his signings don't fit this philosophy like Gallagher or Johnson. But Signings like Rothwell do in my opinion. Ask the points question when the season has finished so we know exactly how many points we got and finishing place
  22. Well we don;t know why Pulis isn't ready for a return to Football. You used to enjoyed watching Stoke play under Pulis? Sacked by Stoke cos they wanted to play more attractive football which they got under Mark Hughes for couple of seasons. He left Palace by mutant Consent. Here the reasons why. Article by the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/14/tony-pulis-crystal-palace-leaves
  23. We simply don't know what their interested in the Rovers in terms watching games. All we have to go on where Mowbray and Waggott have said what they are asked about when they go over there. if they are happy with Mowbray and the progress and the structure he is bringing into scouting or data analysis then fair enough. So you agree with Mowbray about us becoming more possession based team. We will see this summer recruitment bring to the squad and whether it fits into the 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation. We done the Gallagher debate to death on here haven't we. We don't know what Johnson's wages are do we as you have agreed the other day. Yes Adarabioyo does fit the remit more. Will we come back next season? Mowbray has said he will try next season. Does he have someone in mind for this role if we cant get him back. Downing coming in was his best signing last summer and will possible this season player of the season as long as Armstrong If the owners wanted rid of Mowbray they would get rid but don't and continue to back him.
