  1. Key word. Could? We were playing a different way at Brentford. More on the counter. This is a home game were we will have alot more possession in this game. Even go 4-4-2 with Samuel and Armstrong up front with Buckley and Downing starting wide. I not assed but Armstrong must play up front. Hes stepped up and scoring goals and void the Dack Void like I suggest would happen
  2. Here an idea, hold the game at Dingle home ground. Its Burnley home game. Down to them to sort out
  3. Samuel right, Buckley left. Like we did at Brentford during the game. Nyambe and Bell providing the overlap. Don't see Rothwell being part of the squad.
  4. I would play Armstrong up front. Downing in the 10 role. On Saturday we switched at from 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 during the game. Flexibility is good. I expected Stoke will play 4-5-1 with Campbell up front. Ince and McClean wide. Allen, Clacus and Thompson in the midfield 3.
  5. Can you see Rovers getting rid off the seats in Darwen End Matty?
  6. You like repeating yourself. Why did Rovers closed the Darwen end to home fans?
  7. Brentford are always to have more of the possession at home so playing on the counter makes sense. Expect us to have more of the possession against Stoke at Home
  8. Why did the club move you? Would affect around a third of season tickets holders not just me. Like affect Elderly people or people with families as examples. I used that before. Dark ages? So getting a safe standing area is going to solve everything then?
  9. Some of you are talking about moving over 3 to 3.5k(maybe more) season ticket holders for a safe standing area behind the Blackburn Rovers where you might only get 1k of fans. It's fine saying you can sit somewhere else but if you have always had season ticket in Blackburn end and have good seats and view why should people have to get it up? I've had the same seats for 12 years and season ticket holder for over 20 years as well. You like the Darwen end as it was unrestricted seats. Sit where you want.
  10. Walton's contract ends in summer 2021.
  11. But I would you need to get fans opinions before you do. Online survey, postal survey for season tickets holders and match day buyers. I wouldn't want to lose my seat in Blackburn End after having for so many years. Why would I? Over 20 years as season ticket holder. There is some Elderly people are sit in front. You couldn't expect them to stand every game. How many people would want a standing area? What numbers are we talking? What the view of the club on safe standing area? Any talk of this at Supporter consultation meetings or fans forum meetings?
  12. What about elderly people who sit in the Blackburn End or families that sit in Blackburn Rovers? I'm sit in the Blackburn End and I wouldn't want to stand every game. Plus why move families from the Jack Walker lower when all the facilities are now there for? Surely a standing area would be better in the Riverside as others have suggested. The club need to consult all fans before any potential stand move?
  13. If you look at their Sky Pundits compare to Quest pundit Nathan Jones they had different on ours. Nathan Jones said ours was a pen and Brentford wasn't. But when you got Sam Saunders on the panel on Sky he aint going to neutral as he is Brentford man. But Rovers had no one. Sky had Don Goodman, Lee Hendrie and Sam Saunders.
  14. Firstly, thankyou for the reply. He isn't at his peak yet. Wont be for 4 or 5 years yet. Second best in the league in terms of clean sheets. Nothing he could do about either goals yesterday. But command his area yesterday good, made a number of good saves. His kicking is good. What more are looking for before you call him Decent? Thanks for reply in advance.
  15. Walton isnt decent already @Stuart? Walton is developing more and more. Getting better each game. That's why he so highly rated by Brighton. Can I also why should have kept Raya and upgraded our keeper coach? Don't forget Raya wanted out and Our current GK coach Benson seem to improving Walton weekly. Plus Hilton aswell is very good prospect. @Blue blood, can we afford Walton permanently? For me, Brighton will want 5 mil pounds plus. I would expect an experience foreign keeper as number 1 next season.
  16. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18105044.tony-mowbray-explains-reason-behind-bradley-johnson-omission/ From the link I think travelling two hours to training, and two hours back every day, I tried that for a while and in the end I had to buy an apartment because I was feeling asleep in my office in the afternoon before I decided to buy somewhere.
  17. The post you were replying to. Yet again sly dig from Matty on this point "must be great to have a mate for all 92 clubs, no wonder you have such insights". Would love to know where I ever said this Matty but as you know I haven't. I was talking long term plans at Boro. Which their owners and manager have said cos of the cutbacks happening there.
  18. well if you quote the post then I would know Matty what you were talking about I think they make the right choice but need to get them save from relegation then in the summer rebuild the squad into what they want
  19. he been there before when Gibson cut the budget and sack him after a poor run. Why would he go back for the same job years after being there doing the same jone
  20. The Club and Owner plus the fans. I don't know what the Boro fans are saying tonight. Havent look. But its fine question the manager but they need to ask what is their owner plan going forward. Its the Owner Gibson is has said about cutting budgets and bring through more academy players. Major reason why Pulis walk away. https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/middlesbrough-chiefs-expected-patchy-season-17051912 I cant see Mowbray going back to Boro after being there before when they were cutbacks happening during his time there. He been there before why go back again. Gibson didn't stick with him when they went through a poor run unless his time here
  21. I don't see Mowbray leaving us for them. Boro cutting costs there. I disagree. I think Cowley move there was right but not sure he got them playing to their strengths speaking a Friend who supports Huddersfield. Long term project there
  22. I don't see things improving at Boro if Gibson is going to cut the budget again next season which is happening as players out of contract wont have their contract renew at the current level of wages. The Boro owner want to start bringing through more and more academy players. I don't see Boro sacking Woodgate before next Weekend. If they did, who does Gibson go after his replacement. Tough question Gibson need a plan
  23. Fleetwood into the top 6 today. Barton doing the business there. Rotherham got a 91st minute winner at Stanley today. Coventry second and Wycombe third with Sunderland 4th. Looked like Tranmere, Southend and Bolton are going down in league 2, Swindon are top by 2 points, Crewe second, Exeter third point behind Crewe, and Plymouth 4th a point behind Exeter. all played 34 games.
  24. The select group 2 referees are professional now. Which are Championship Refs unless a Group 1 ref step down and refereeing at this level. The National list only refs league 1 and 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_refereeing_in_England#Levels Today's ref is Tim Robinson who is a full time professional ref. https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/match-officials/select-group-two-officials/what-is-select-group-2/ https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/match-officials/select-group-two-officials/select-group-2-match-officials/referee-profiles-201920/tim-robinson/
