9 points from 5 games from Mowbray is a massive improvement compare to where we would have been under Coyle. Probably on the same points as Wigan.

The DoF model does work in English football. Look at Southampton for example. This model works in Europe. I think Mowbray and Senior will work together in bringing in signings this summer. But like Ive said many times signings must fit the style of play we will used. I'm happy with the points total so far. Its more than we would have got under Coyle tbh.

Yes it is wrong way to run a club but its Venkys way and that what we have. I agree with the Director of football/head coach model. Think it does work if used right. Lets just focus on staying up and supporting the players and Mowbray this season. Whether we have a worse squad next season we will see in the summer. Cheston wont be in charge of the football operations side. He deal with the finances side of the club but very doubt he will be setting budgets cos all that will be decide by the owners. He will go through Pasha who then talks to Balaji. So he isnt number 1 but that is Pasha. Both Senior and Cheston both report to Pasha. Whether Senior speaks direct to Balaji I dont know but I think he does cos he must have been pushing for Coyle sacking for weeks

I think Mowbray will bring through a few from the under 23's like Wharton, Hardcastle, Doyle and Rankin Costello. I would only offer new deals to Guthrie and Mahoney. I expect Wes Brown, Gordon Greer, Jason Lowe, Hope Akpan, Adam Henley all to leave I think we will sign Emnes on a permanent deal if we stay up. Knows Mowbray very well and he knows how to get him to play to his best. I would be looking to sign Gallagher or Hoban if we could. Expect Stokes to leave. Cheston said this? Is he in the loop? It appears that Senior is running the Football operations from start and end. Leaving Cheston and Slivester to deal with the admin side On the recruitment side, Senior will be charge of this but I think he and Mowbray will decide on a shortlist after the season has finish and Senior will do the deals. whilst Mowbray focus on the coaching side of the club and bring in one or 2 staff like a new fitness coach or gk coach.

If that's all you really care about then its time you gave up supporting Rovers and get back to the day job. Mid table means we stay up. that's is all that matters. maybe you want us to go then you can thinking what colour of tie Mowbray will be wearing next season as long as Mowbray is happy with Lowe as his number 2 that's all that matters.
