  1. Chilwell. Lewis hall was immense for Newcastle the last couple of months. Shaw is a very good fullback. It's just his injury record
  2. England were shit in the two friendlies before the last euros. I still believe a semi final place will be the minimum. We still have Bellingham to come back. He makes a huge difference. Shaw should be back soon. These games are worthless training exercises. The players clearly don't want to pick up an injury
  3. Tbf ghuei was very good last night. Its mainoo leaving huge holes not tracking back. Rice can't do the job of two players. Wharton would work alongside rice really well imo
  4. Wharton is lightyears better than mainoo
  5. I guess we have to put it down to players wanting to avoid injury. Iceland were far more up for it. But Southgate wastes so many chances to make positive calls. There's no need for rice to play 90 minutes. Wharton was excellent when he came on on Monday gets left out entirely this game for a very average mainoo. Toney should have started the game. Eze should have been used more. I can't wait to see the back of him
  6. Southgate has no ingame management. He's got absolutely zero tactical knowhow. He's our biggest achilles heel by far
  7. Southgate is a fucking bellend. Bigs up Wharton then gives a shite mainoo 90 minutes
  8. Rooney is looking more and more like shrek every day. He's carry a bit of timber
  9. Toney has taken to international football like a duck to water on his displays so far. Some players do. Some don't
  10. This squad definitely has far greater strength in depth than the golden generation
  11. Some pundits recognise talent like Jamie o'hara who bigged him up.
  12. I would say he's better than anything Italy have right now. Portugal France Holland I agree with
  13. A good impact player off the bench if we are chasing a game. But nowhere near good enough to start
  14. Totally disagree on ghuei. Watched him numerous times and he's an outstanding defender. He has everything a modern defender needs. Pace. Recovery. Good on the ball.
  15. When everyone is fully fit shaw stones ghuei and walker is a pretty decent backline. Shaw is expected to be fit for the second game. Ghuei is a really good defender
  16. Yes that's one that I don't agree with. But maybe he needs experience without maguire
  17. United is a graveyard for English talent
  18. The only decision I disagree with is dropping Grealish. We're stacked everywhere else bar left-back
  19. "Been involved in helping to sell him to Crystal Palace ' silly bitch
  20. Declan Rice on 20-year-old midfielder Adam Wharton: "I think there's a difference, you can see in players who are top level players at 20 and players that are on the cusp of stuff. "And he's top level. He sees a pass early, left and right foot. It's impressive the way he passes a ball. Whether it's five or ten yards, there's just a crispness to it. Really impressive. Calm, composed, relaxed. "You speak to the Crystal Palace boys about him, he's shocked them on how well he's done. "But he's 20-years-old, it's his first tournament. It's so important we don’t put too much pressure on him. Let him flourish and England are going to have an amazing midfielder to come through for the next 15 years High praise from a world class player
  21. Rice basically called him a generational talent
  22. Agree with u on most but Wharton is destined for far higher than Palace. He'll be a bayern or man city player in the next couple of years
  23. The way he drifts past players reminds me of neymar
  24. I'm not just excited as a Rovers fan that Wharton is there. I'm excited as an England fan too. We have some genuinely quality midfielders in Wharton and mainoo now. Along with trent and Bellingham. Of course rice too. We have midfielders who are comfortably in possession a far cry from euro 2020 final and the world cup semi final
