I wonder with these links to the Columbian, and Ryo Germain, if there is a slight chance that Sammie might stay, if we can bring in 3 or 4 more quality signings. Would he stay one more season, if there is the slight possibility of promotion with us? I'm living in hope, but perhaps another good season, might see Sammie move to a better PL team, than Ipswich

Re Pears.. besides that one save he made, I thought he was very nervy once again.. Derbys first goal, while a good header, and with us having players on their guy, I thought that was Pears ball to come out and cause mayhem. I do note, that Pears is not very commanding or vocal, which is a concern.

When you say to certain fans, at least wait a few games before making judgements on the new signings, then we mean it. You need to remember, that Go Ahead also needs to replace him..Finding a good goalkeeper these days for under a million isn't the easiest thing. They probably have a keeper in mind, that might cost them 1.5 mill, so they would rather want to spend 300k, rather than 700k by getting 1.2 mill from us.. We are once again "if true" haggling over 400k, when we are in desperate need to find a good quality keeper..

Pears is only playing, because we just dont have anybody better. Paying any fee for a replacement keeper, needs to be somebody that is better than him, and that will start immediately... We have to get this replacement keeper right, or it's going to be a long season again
