Let me put it to you this way, i dont believe Pears is a number 1 keeper. The good keepers are commanding inside their area, they are vocal and they have character. Whilst i agree that Leopold should be given time, my point still stands, that its money that we could have used on a striker, if the whole idea was to have Pears as the number custodian.

I get what you're saying, but we nearly spent a mill on Leo, to only have him on the bench? If we had Pears to be the number 1, so be it, but then either let one of the U/21 keepers be back up, or get a loan for a reserve keeper. That money could have been useful towards an area of need or towards a striker. Also, if i was Leopold and i gave up at least a minimum of 6 matches of Champions League Football, to come and sit on the bench in the championship, i would be seriously pissed off

Fuck man, we messed it up. We had 31 days to find 2 strikers. LOB wasn't even what we needed, and was more just us lucking into that situation. The fact that we would have ended up with no striker is a farce. I don't care about Undav or Kone failure, the fact of the matter is this, we had enough time to find a striker that was capable of starting games. The Broughton interview is just a way to get certain fans to feel sorry for him, but in reality he and the entire board need to be sacked. Everytime we fuck up, Broughton will say some nice things, and fans will bow down again. We are a Joke of a club, run by morons
