This is not how football works... If Fifa/Uefa had to say, every club only has a max salary of 35k per player, do you think players would move that often? Fact of the matter is this, our only hope is that we can convince BBD to sign and extension, and that he can lead us to the PL, and then see if he wants to stay or not. If he still wants to leave, great, we can take an offer of 25 to 30 mill for him, and still be happy about it.

I think the squad as a whole maybe needs 1 or 2 new solid additions, at most 3. But the additions need to strengthen the team, and be able to get the team to the PL. The players we sign, we need to ask, are they good enough to play at PL level, or is the championship the best they can offer? Who we sign, needs to be on par or better than what we currently have, because that will ensure that we don't sign players just to fill numbers. We have been here before, where we sign players, who just come into make the squad full.
