  1. Wishful thinking: Bali Mumba as Brittain replacement - that would be amazing business unfortunately won’t happen
  2. Danny Batth turns 35. He was a very solid player, especially with Wharton out. With him back in all honestly it makes sense to not give him another year. Look at Sunderland where he came from. They took the chance even though he was quite a useful player for them.
  3. He did, but didn’t he tear his meniscus or something in March and was out for the rest of the season? Just came back and got 30 minutes for Derby in pre-season. to be honest: would we be happy with us taking someone who came from a severe injury, 34 year old and didn’t get a proper pre-season? I can understand why we didn’t make a lot of efforts to maintain him, and he has a longer history with Derby and history with JE
  4. I can understand the Weimann issue, but he is 34. He came back now for Derby after an injury. He is a player that takes care of himself, but he can easily become an expensive sick note.
  5. I can see us front runners on the Sunderland player who had impressed for Hibs. Us and Pompey linked, surely we are above Pompey? πŸ˜…
  6. The FM/CM thing was tongue in cheek, but if there is an underlying issue with his ACL, meniscus or issues such as bursitis or arthritis which could be career damaging or mean he could miss a lot of matches because the knee need Β«a breakΒ». I am all for postponing and it makes sense with pay as you play. Then we at least will be neck-to-neck and he will have to take responsibility to do his utmost to stay fit and not provoke any further problems
  7. Is Moussa Baradji injury prone in FM2024/25? Yes, Moussa Baradji is quite injury prone in Football Manager 2024/25. It is likely he will get a few injuries, take this into consideration when thinking about signing him
  8. Some years ago Wesley failed his medical for a loan move back to Club Brugge. Apparently it was because his ACL was too badly damaged despite being out for over a year. A failed medical often means the club can't get insurance for the player One of the most famous ones: June 2018, Liverpool negotiated with Lyon for the transfer of Fekir, offering a maximum €60 million. Fekir even agreed personal terms, before the transfer collapsed due to a knee issue that appeared during the medical.
  9. Leif Davies unused sub for Ipswich tonight. Wonder where he is off too.
  10. He is good at holding the ball up, getting free kicks and playing in others. He has looked fitter in pre-season, but doesent have the workload needed. Could work interim as a 30-45 minute cameo.
  11. Tyjon, Cantwell can play there as can probably AK. Our squad is quite versatile.
  12. No, but are there really many teams out there who won’t suffer if their two most important players gets injured? And I might be happy with Tavares, just don’t know enough yet.
