  1. Not withstanding the usual caveats about highlights reels, this Germain fella looks to have some decent attributes; good in the air, decent shot on him, takes a mean penalty and seems to like getting in the 'right' areas.
  2. There does seem to be a bit of a theme in those initials though. Could we get 20 goals out of Danny Dyer?
  3. We really are a basket case. Broughton made mistakes but with JDT and him gone the DoF experiment feels like it's ended. As the dust settles, the last man standing is that useless cnut Waggot. I'm normally glass half full but genuinely feel next season is going to be dire, when all the useless incompetent mediocrity finally catches up with us. One final point, if people think getting rid of Broughton is the answer then they're asking the wrong questions. He's just the patsy...
  4. The situation we find ourselves in was infinitely avoidable. Next season needs big changes if we aren't going to be in this situation again. New owners.. tick. New CEO......tick. New manager....ideally. One can but dream....
  5. It definitely was on him but all 3 goals have been total avoidable.
  6. Fucking bottle merchants. Wednesday are shit and we've handed it to them on a plate.
  7. I don't think a single player had a good.game. Mcfadzean and Tronstad were okay. Other than that, the rest were all shit. Embarrassing.
  8. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Absolutely clueless tonight.
  9. Well, that's it then. The brave new world, the Director of Football model, a manager who got us to 7th and promised to build on that this season - all gone. As others have said, sadly, JDT provably needs to go. He's had the life sucked out of him by the parasites systematically destroying the club. These fuckers are always one step forward two steps back. I had hope with this new set-up and yet, within a season and a half it's imploded. Just do the right thing for once. Sell the club and fuck off - oh, and take all your useless acolytes with you.
  10. Regarding this jizz rumour, I'm just not swallowing it.
  11. Funny-old-game, sorry, quoted you by mistake.
  12. thomphil.. I'd quit while you're not ahead if I were you. Don't think they fund an academy either, just saying...
  13. Given the constantly moving goalposts he's having to work within, I'd say your opinion is wrong (imo of course). Now if you want to talk about Waggott..
  14. Sounds bizarre and completely unprofessional. Give me Broughton over Waggott any day of the week...
  15. Roy Orbisin - She's a mystery to me
  16. Bjork; Baby, it's Cold Outside
  17. As much as I abhor Coyle and love Berg the player I have to admit Berg the manager was a car crash. Appleton was a bore. I'd describe Lambert as being all fur coat and no knickers. Bowyer was okay, but as someone else said earlier, there's an argument he should have done better with the squad he had, at least before the fire-sale. Mowbray outstayed his welcome but I guess stabilised us. JDT - I like a lot but sadly, looks like we won't see him around long enough to complete the 'project'. 7. Berg 6. Coyle 5. Appleton 4. Lambert 3. Bowyer 2. Mowbray 1. JDT Appleton is lucky to make 5 and I'm surprised to see Mowbray make no. 2 but I see it more of an indictment of the quality elsewhere on the list.
  18. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/ranking-blackburn-rovers-last-7-managers-including-tomasson-from-worst-to-best-gary-bowyer-3rd/#gary-bowyer Interesting article. Still deciding my rankings but thought it might instigate a lively debate.
  19. One change, Wharton for Hyam.
  20. No reason we can't get 3 points tonight and go 3 wins on the bounce. Obviously depends on which Rovers turns up though..
  21. Given what we've seen of JDT's tenure so far I think it's fair to say he doesn't lack ruthlessness when he feels it's required.
  22. Great result, mediocre performance. Started brightly and then became far too passive. The defence deserves credit as does Pears. Great goal by Hedges. That's just confirmed for je that I'd much rather keep him than Dolan. 7 points from 4 games is a decent start but we do look threadbare and definitely need 2 or 3 more in.
  23. Nice car, shit parking...
